|Bio and Links|
My email address is at bottom of page if you need to contact me.
Notice my numbers on memorials I have entered and how many I maintain? I have decided to scale back and keep memorials that have a connection to me.
This site started off as a site for famous people and then evolved into what it is today. I believe in adding links, family info, obits, photos, etc, to create a family lineage so others searching for family can possibly make connections.
I will add census records under Bio for those with no info in hopes that family will see names in the household and make connections. Once connections are made these census records can be deleted.
This is a "team" effort project. Some get out there and record info, others provide photos, others send in links or info for Bios.
We all bring something of value in our work.
Let's all work together to complete as much as possible.
I try to honor military veterans and soldiers.
I never intentionally create duplicates or place someone in the incorrect cemetery. If I have made an error, just kindly point it out to me please.
If anyone I have listed are part of your family or research, I will be glad to transfer ownership of that person so that you may add more records and information. If they were your friend, I will transfer. I just want memorials to go to those who will take good care of them. I will retain those who are in my direct lines.
To request transfer:
Go to the person's Memorial Page, Click on Edit, then Make A Suggestion and request the transfer, including your FAG ID number.
Thank you, Susan

Thanks for catching the incorrect spouse link. I did not make the link, so unfortunately I cannot correct it. Hopefully the manager of the other memorial will correct the error.

That would be fine. I will not have a lot of time to work on it till the summer because I am a caregiver for my 87 yr mom, but I plan to work on it this summer. I don't understand all the mechanics of the site yet either, but thank you.

I am so new to all of this that I don't know what transfer is and under what conditions it is used. I need a definite lesson on what all this is and how to use it so I don't mess anything up. I see a HELP with FIND A GRAVE in the left column, which I will check out during Christmas. I eventually plan to do a lot of work here (I love that it preserves all the data and photos for future generations) but since I am a caregiver for my 87 yr old mom and work as a teachers aide, I won't have time until the summer to do a lot.
This is a wonderful, heartwarming site!

I will have to look into that. I have only so much info like you. Are you in S.C. by chance? Please allow me to get back to you in a few days on this. I am pretty busy today and tomorrow. Thank you for emailing me and I look forward to conversing with you in the future.
I have done all but a couple or so Merritt's. Check those I have left and let me know if you want them as well.
Now, what were the other names, I did Gilliard and something else. Just let me know.

I was surprised to receive the transfers. Five of them are related to my husband. I have never heard of the other five, but I will do some research on them and will maintain all the transfers. Thank you for your hard work.
