I have been doing genealogy for many years. My goals now are to further document and flesh out the line with interesting and less available details. I am also trying to share as much as I can on the web as this leads to meeting my goals. Please feel free to email me with additions, corrections or questions. Thank you. I often add flowers as a coutesy to other graves in the cemetery where relatives are buried, so if you think we are related, please check out my website on rootsweb which is updated on the 1st of each month. I publish all my info, so if you find a relative, check back monthly for updates. |
P.S. I think this is one of the most helpful sites on the net.
Thank you so much to the people who generously donate their time and money to provide information, photographs, and floral contributions to people who may never be able to thank them. I especially appreciate those who remember this is much bigger than ourselves and consistently maintain their memorials in a professional manner, treating others volunteers in the respectful way in which they like to be treated.
Please use the edit tab on the memorial to make corrections as I have entered a lot of data, and unless you provide the # of the memorial, I have no idea who you are referring to. A message posted here tends to be ignored where an email is dealt with immediately. Thanks.

|E. E. Meech||Leona O'Horgan|
Mary, I can confirm you are correct about Tom O'Horgan being Leona's son. She was living in the penthouse of the Wacker hotel in Chicago and I rented a bedroom with apartment privilege's from her. Tom had just moved to NYC when I answered an ad she had placed in the Chicago Tribune. Since she was away much of the time, I cared for her apartment and Boston terrier, Maggie. I was attending photographic school at the time. She treated me like a member of her family and I enjoyed knowing her. Mrs. O'Horgan even invited me for holiday dinners after I got my own apartment. Nice Lady. Tom became a famous Broadway Director. Hair, J.C.Superstar, Lenny, and several more. His obit is easily found on the internet.

Hello... I see you left a flower on the memorial for the Gaines family in Fauquier Co VA. Are you related, or know someone who is? Someone sent me a message saying she has an old book that's inscribed to Cornelia Clark, daughter-in-law of this William Henry Gaines. Trying to help her track down living relatives who might want the book.
|Carolyn ||RE: Nunn|
