I have found the gravestones for many of my ancestors on this site. I have used the Photo Requests feature to find the gravestones for my other relatives as well. The members and volunteer photographers have responded wonderfully!|
I think this is such a wonderful resource, I want to "pay it forward" by fulfilling Photo Requests, of nearby cemeteries, from people just like me who would never be able to see the grave sites of their relatives or loved ones otherwise.
If possible "Please" help out your photo volunteers by obtaining the plot information from the cemetery and adding it to your request. Remember you are asking the volunteers to help you on their own time. Making it easier on them means they spend less time trying to gather/research the data in trying to find the grave locations, which in turn means they can get to the cemetery to fulfill your request that much quicker.
If you have suggestions or requests for transfers, please contact me using the "Edit" tab toward the top right hand corner of the person's memorial page. Select the first option you see; then tell me what you would like for me to do. Making your request this way ensures that I have all the information I need to fulfill your request.

Thank you for answering my question about Percey and Helen, and their husbands...a question on my mind for over a year.
I'm truly enjoying researching my ancestors, and appreciate your current contributions, especially the recent grave site photos connected to the Elwood and Dawes families.
Let me know if you would like to talk further; I'll pass along an e-mail address.

Thank you for leaving a message. Helen M. Dawes Elwood was my great x3 aunt; that makes you and I 4th cousins, I believe ...it's nice to meet you.
If you have questions about the Dawes side of the family, I will try to answer them.
Do you know if Percey Elizabeth Dawes Elwood and Helen Elwood married "Elwood brothers" or "Elwood cousins"?
I hope to hear from you soon.

Dear Rick Elwood,
I am a great-great granddaughter of Charles M. Dawes and Minerva Sweet Dawes, as is my sister, Linda Binder. We would very much like to have a copy of his photo and his grave site that you posted on Find A Grave, and any others you may have access to of family members, especially Mabel. Linda and I have a very limited photo collection of our ancestors and would love to add to it, if it is convenient for you to send photos.
If you choose to respond, I will send my contact information.
Thank you very much! We so appreciate your work on the Memorial page.

Found my great-great grandfather, Charles Mark Dawes, and his wife, Minerva Sweet Dawes! Nice to see their memorial stones on Find-a-Grave. I'm a great-granddaughter of Mabel M. Dawes Larsen; she was Charles and Minerva's youngest child.
