Bio Photo I'm happy to transfer memorials to relatives upon request - please make sure you send your F-a-G number with your request.

If you have a correction, additional information or an obituary or bio, send it along THROUGH THE EDIT TAB PLEASE and I'll add it to the memorial.

If you have a complaint, be nice and I'll address it as soon as humanly possible.

I ADHERE TO FAG POLICY ON TRANSFERS: Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer.

NOTE: I have no relationship to 99.99% of the memorials I create -- if you are CLOSELY related, let me know and ask for a transfer - I'll be happy to do so.

RE: mixed cemeteries
I just happen to remember I have a guide to the cemeteries in Putnam Co.. I helped my Aunt Betty Stark put it together back in 99.

There are 3 Pippin cemeteries listed:

Farlin Pippin Cemetery
John Pippin Cemetery
Morgan Pippin Cemetery

From the descriptions in the guide this cemetery that is labeled John I Pippin Cemetery in Putnam Co. is actually the Farlin Pippin Cemetery. Here is the location description from the guide.

Take Hwy 70N west to Plunk Whitson Rd and turn right. Go to Pippin Rd and turn left. Go to Cumby Rd and turn left, go almost to the end, cemetery is on the right.

This matches the map for the one labeled John I Pippin Cemetery. I don't know if you want to try and get the named changed, but it would avoid a lot of confusion for people.

Thanks, Jerry

Not sure if you are aware of this but there are two John I Pippin Cemeteries on Find A Grave.
One in Jackson Co.
( )

and one in Putnam Co.,
( ). They both have a lot of the same people in each.

Here is a description of the one in Jackson Co. from the Jackson Co. TN Cemetery Inscriptions book:

Civil District 12. Map 097. Parcel 019.14. Size 118 X 72 X IRR. From Gainesboro take Hwy 56 almost to the Putnam Co. Line. Four civil war soldiers buried here. Ms Elvie Johnson said this is where her grandfather Claborn Jackson is
buried. She called it the "Joe Put" Pippin Graveyard. Joe Put is buried in the Morgan Pippin Cemetery. Several years ago Letha Coomer Woolbright said that it was known as the Woodfork Pippin Cemetery. When the current Tavern was built, dozier destroyed many graves. Opal Robinson got the destruction stopped. We're calling it the John I.Pippin Cemetery. Last visited 01 Jun 1997

I think this one (Jackson Co.) should just be called Pippin Cemetery as noted at the cemetery.

I am sending this to you because you seem to have the most listings at this (Putnam Co.) cemetery. I am sending a note like this to David Mayo #48529350 because he has the most at the other one.

I am not trying to tell anyone what to do, but I think you can see that this needs to be straighten out. Maybe you and Dave can work it out.

If you don't have a copy of the Inscription book I can send you a list of the people buried at the Jackson Co. cemetery. I don't have one for Putnam Co. if there is one there.

There is a map on each one and they show different locations.

If you need to contact me my email is:

As my initial edit stated his biological father is Andrej Dzikielewski Find A Grave #149646408 and his biological mother is Helen Kryscho Dzikielewski Find A Grave #149651597. These are who my last email was referring to. I do not have his adoptive parents names. Esther

RE: Thomas Lewandowski
Both parents died within 2 days of each other. They left behind 5 minor children, 2 of them were adopted by different families. Thomas was adopted by the Lewandowski family & his brother Felix was adopted by the Jaykel family. The remaining minors lived with other families, but were not legally adopted.

He was my mother's cousin, all my information came from several family sources. Have a great day. Esther
