Can I use the photo you added to this memorial for my family tree? He was my 3rd cousin. Once I put it on my Ancestry Tree, it will probably be copied several times.
Thanks, Kris

RE: Rattle Snake Kate
Yes, Colorado is my parent's home state, and I wish I could move there. I always loved going there when I was a child. I would also love to go to the Greeley museum and see the Rattle Snake Kate display.

I had not run accross that information. Do you know his name? There are so many stories and I want to know them all.
I guess there is no proof they threw the stones away, it is just rotten they got away with destroying history. If you want to send me the faded photo and I will try to restore it.

Keep after them, it is sickening to think they care so little about the other burials. My family there are the Thayers are their graves harmed? I live in south Texas and have never been to the cemetery. I would be glad to write a letter in support of your efforts, just give me a name and address.

Webb or West

I agree it should be called West that is why I try to add the following message to my entries:
Burial information from a list supplied by the Chittenden County Clerk. Cemetery originally called West Cemetery.

I like your name spelling, my daughter is called Andi.

hi Sandi, So glad you found her memorial. Can you remind me which cemetery this was in? I think it was Mizpah. I'd like to look at her memorial again. thanks, Cathy

RE: Rattle Snake Kate
My grandparents used to see her around town when my mother was growing up. My mother used to tell me stories about her when I was little.

Rattle Snake Kate
Were you referring to Rattle Snake Kate from Weld County, Colorado?

Hannah Herrick wife of Elijah Herrick

I really can't tell you for sure where the grave of Hannah is located in this cemetery.. it's been a number of years since I have been there and right now it being a icy winter, we can not get into the cemetery to relocate it..

This cemetery was vandalized many years ago and there is only a very few readable grave stone remaining.. that could be the reason why Elijah's grave can't be located..
