|Billy Walker||Pvt Henry Wilson Memorial# 80802333|
I want to thank you for posting the picture on Pvt Wilson's memorial. I had been having trouble getting a photo because I was told some one else was buried in the plot given. It was not until you posted the picture of Henry Lee's tombstone that I checked his plot location, here is what I found:
Lee is listed buried in Plot: 33, 9 RW E
Wilson in Plot: Section: 33 Row E Site 9
They must be the same plot! I had previously researched Henry Lee, he does not appear on the Roster of the 97th Pa. Infantry but does have a Pension card listing him in the 97th. There is also a Henry Lee in the 197th Ohio Infantry. Lee was from Ohio, but married in Pennsylvania and lived there awhile.
Henry Wilson is definitively carried on the rolls of Company C, 97th Pa. Infantry. And listed by the National Grave Locater as buried in Los Angeles National Cemetery at the above site. There is a Henry Lee listed on the National Graves Locater for Los Angeles, but he was born in 1896 and died in 1966-- not the Henry Lee of Civil War age.
One last thing Henry Wilson and Henry Lee died on the same day and year – July 12, 1925. I am inclined to believe either the veterans grave records are wrong, or Henry Wilson changed his name name to Lee and he is not the Henry Lee from Ohio.
It may be a mystery we will never solve- but thanks to you I now know the reason I could not get a photo for Wilson!

On behalf of the David Dupont Beveridge family, we offer our profound gratitude for the photo of Uncle Fred's headstone. You have volunteered your time to help us and we are grateful. Because of this, Uncle Fred has now been linked to his wife, Marie. I hope you don't mind that I also posted your photo to her memorial but proper credit was given.
THANK YOU! and God Bless You!

Thanks for the photo, Jeff.
How wonderful to have a photo on Isaac's headstone. The row of stones is also very dramatic. This is very much appreciated by our family.

Thanks, Jeff! I really appreciate you taking the time and effort to find this vet's headstone for me and then taking and posting the picture! I never knew where he was buried and did not know he was buried in a different cemetery than my great grandmother until recently. Thanks again! Susan
