Bio and Links
I have been collecting Higley Family History for 18 years. Today I have over 38,000 Plus direct descendants (not including the spouses) of Captain John Higley, Simsbury, Connecticut. This includes 8066 Higley's that was born with the HIGLEY name. With more than 71,000 names in my files. I enjoy finding lost relatives and writing biographies about family. I collect individual and tombstone pictures, always looking for more pictures. Do you have photos to share? Please one photo per relative. I have over 8500 photos to share, 4196 are individual pictures of relatives. 4307 photos are tombstone markers. I also have over 4845 pages of information available to share with family that covers 12,275 families, 310,000 text records and 10,800 surnames. So many descendants that I needed to break it down in 26 books. Are you related? If I have any errors in my postings let me know. This is a great web-site. Please send me photos...or post photos of my Higley relatives. Keep the Higley legacy going. Thanks. I have many non related people posted on Find-a-grave and would be happy to transfer these. Feel free to use my photos for family.

Kenneth Leroy Higley photo problem
Obituary states Kenneth Leroy Higley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Higley was buried at the nearby Cherry Flats Baptist Cemetery, not the Cherry Flats Methodist Cemetery. Recommend you move the grave there and make photo request, unless you have other records indicating burial at the Methodist.

RE: tombstone pics
Hi Leroy, I took the photos in black and white because they were nearly impossible to read in color form. I hope to get back to the cemetery today and if you want me to take them in color, I can certainly do that. I don't generally do B/W but in this case it was easier to read the stone.
