UPDATED JULY 23rd, 2014:|
Yes, I have noticed that non-photo images are being pulled from the 'boards' of memorials, and so you're not the only one it is happening to...I just got asked about it again, and I also noticed more non-photo images were pulled from my own pages last night (ouch!). I do think the new ownership is simply trying to enforce rules which may have been a little free and loose until now, and it isn't personal - and believe me, I take everything personally! =) So, you're not the only one being affected, and we'll just have to figure out what the rules are now, and try to adapt to them - however, I agree that the rules should quit changing!!!! ha!
This young man has just set out on his journey Home:
Dustin DeWayne Campbell
July 28th is the ANGEL DAY for Della Barris; You may recall her name because she was the daughter of game show/television producer Chuck Barris. Della has now found the peace that eluded her during her short time on Earth:
In a world of upheaval, the passing of a celebrity may not seem to be very important, but I really want to post the link to the memorial page for one of my favorite actors, James Garner. He was known as an all around nice guy and a family man, and his biography is a fascinating read...not only does he leave the entertainment contributions behind, but he served bravely during the Korean War. Please visit with Thank You:
This beautiful little angel has a BIRTHDAY on July 22nd and her ANGEL DAY was July 19th:
Janessa S. 'Nessa' Banks
Site friend Delita has lost her beautiful niece; Delita asked me whether she could post a poem of mine, 'Lady Lupus' on Allison's page to draw attention to this very, very misunderstood illness. I am very honored to know my words may help to draw attention to Allison's struggle, and although I obviously wrote the poem originally about my own health issues, from now on, it's Allison's poem:
Allison Leigh Wisenbaker
This is the memorial page to a HERO who has two tokens - please visit him with prayers and blessings:
Henry Frank Amaker
Another HERO brought to my attention by site friends The Houstons:
Private Joseph Michael Houston
This little angel had an ANGEL DAY this week, but I missed it on the 3rd; belated balloons and teddy bears are most appreciated:
This little one has a BIRTHDAY on July 24th:
Giovanni Michael Guglielmo
This baby boy has a page that was originally put up by a now inactive member, and so it is receiving no acknowledgement or visits. =( Cody drowned when left in a bathtub:
This young man would have celebrated his 21st BIRTHDAY on July 1st:
Aaron Jerome Hernandez
Here is yet another voice from the Holocaust; this infant's cry remains long after ignorance and hatred attempted to silence it:
Clara Deborah van Leeuwen
Another young homicide victim:
Jack Owen Blake
Please visit my new virtual cemetery "Attention: Sponsored Children" - I am going to try to group my many sponsorships into more organized compartments asap, so that you will be able to visit pages which specifically interest you much more easily. I do realize that the list can seem overwhelming, and I am going over some ideas - for instance, new friend Hannah will be watching for birthdays and Angel Days for me right now, whether they are my own sponsorships or not. =)
I was asked to keep the link up to my brother Ron's page; THANK YOU for all of your thoughts and prayers for my family members. =) I just put a poem of mine on Ron's page that will tell a bit more about my brother's short time here, if you'd like to read it - it's - as Ron would have said - the cold as Chicago winter wind truth, and he was very brave to live through everything he did. Here is Ron's link:
Ronald Lucien 'Ron' Poynter, Jr.
This young man is a reminder to me personally of the conflict/war; James hometown is a bus transfer and short train ride from my front door:
James Floyd Grissom
This little angel has a BIRTHDAY on July 12th; as far as I know, the homicides of Jennifer and her parents remain unsolved, and you can link to their pages through hers:
Jennifer Renee Short
Bio: My son Gannon and I live in the Bay Area, but we are from Chicago/Jersey/New York; we have traveled extensively in our lives and are only off the road for now due to medical issues - but I sure hope to be able to hit the road again, someday. =) I am widowed, and I write for a living; I am very lucky to be able to work at home and therefore be with Gannon 24/7; he is seriously physically and mentally disabled, and most of my friends on here already know how I feel about Gannon...If I leave anything behind that is good, it will be because Gannon made me a better person. It is an honor to be his mother. We are interested in charity work and support Wounded Warriors, Make A Wish, Toys for Tots, The Huntington's Disease Foundation, The Michael J. Fox Foundation; all programs for poverty and below poverty level families in America; Feed America, Books For Inmates, and more. We also have a soft spot for animal welfare programs, and sincerely believe the quote that "If you want to know a man's true character, study how he treats an animal." Lastly, I hope that my work on here will answer questions, bring reunions and pay tribute to those gone, but not forgotten.

Yes, l was surprised the photo's arrived so quickly, l've known mail from Spain take a fair bit longer than that.
l'm eagerly looking forward to a couple more pics and yes, l adore Diana Dors. It was so sad when she passed away and even sadder a few months later when husband Alan took his own life because he couldn't live without her, heartbreaking...but sooo romantic! Diana certainly was beautiful in her younger days. My most beautiful women are Maureen O'Hara, Liz Taylor, Olivia De Haviland and of course Diana Dors...sorry but l'm not a Marilyn Monroe fan...if l were a man l might be, haha.
Well l hope you and Gannon have a good weekend.
Hugs from sunny England,

Looking at this toddler's face made me cry all over again. Having their photos makes the horror of it all even more real.
Would you please visit this darling?

Big hug to you Rhonda and prayers going out for your health.
Did they take your images, too? So many are disappearing - save all your images, everybody.
So, so sad ~ stealing from little babies' graves.
The Angels weep.
I'm so proud of you, Rhonda, and you, Gannon Blue, for all you do. You take up the gray and leave lovely pastels wherever you go...
Big, Soft, Wrap-Around Hugs,

Dearest Rhonda -
You are so welcome! It's been a while since I visited your
memorials, so I thought I would stop by. I was just looking at
your beloved dad's photo and, gosh, does he remind me of
Bobby Darin! And I love Bobby Darin!! Will be back for more
visits so you'll be seeing my name again and again. Had
forgotten how lovely all your memorials are - your beloved
mother is so beautiful and Trapper is precious. Really
enjoyed visiting your beloved brother also! So good to hear
from you, Rhonda. Have a blessed night!
All the best to you and your beautiful son Gannon!
God bless ~ Jean Ann

Rhonda, Thank you and Thanks you to your Friends. I am delighted and touched at your sponsorship of Ben "Flash" Kennedy's memorial. Your visits to the memorials of family and friends brighten them and so do your kind thoughts. I keep you this evening in prayer that your needs be met and strength be with you and your family in the days ahead.
