Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE! DO NOT UPLOAD ANY OF MY PHOTOS WITHOUT EXPRESS PERMISSION. I'm pretty easy to get along with and will be happy to transfer anything within the guidelines. But to take photos from my memorials that are copyright protected (even though they may not be watermarked as such - check the copyright laws for verification) is clearly not appropriate and, technically illegal. I'm not saying I'll send a team of lawyers after you, I'm just asking for a small degree of common courtesy. Just ask! All I want is attribution for the work I've done. I only have about 1,800 in my name, but I've uploaded over 20,000 as a partner/volunteer of another Find A Grave contributor, John O'Connor, who was entirely welcome to my work....he asked! As a matter of fact, many of the photos that I took (and therefore hold the copyright) were uploaded under John's account.

Contact me anytime with corrections, links, transfers (according to policy) or adding information. I will respond as quickly as is reasonable.

A quick note: I'm often asked a question about hyperlinks. To add an internal link within a biography, you would need to type
< a href="">Name< /a>
(I put this here because I use it frequently and am tired of digging for it in the FAQ.)

I will remember that one, too. Never have come across "relict" but probably will. Thanx---Ann

Hi, Dave-I'm not much of a TV watcher---so, I entertain myself by researching decedents on Find A Grave. I don't know if all members do this---sometimes, I get so into working on a particular family (that isn't mine), I can't even recall what got me started---as with the Kingsburys. Not sure how I ended up looking at Rose Hill burials, but I do know that I had to find out more about George S. Kingsbury's "consort" Harriet R. "Cabbot." As we've all discovered, errors are etched in stone---as Harriet's surname was actually Cabot. I have a membership to My Heritage, which is a bit more cumbersome than Ancestry, but I still feel like I've struck gold when I find the decedent's place in a family tree that reveals parents, siblings and spouses. Plus, I was surprised to find out "consort" simply means spouse--not what I thought one was. With Google, sometimes one obscure piece is enough to locate the whole puzzle, as with the dedication poem on Harriet's stone. I am glad to have been of service to this family--best wishes, Dave--and thank you for allowing me to meddle.

RE: Calkins
Thank you too Dave!
Margaret H was the 2nd wife of W Stewart, they married about 1975(his first wife was a Harrington relative of mine.) Margaret's first husband was William Calkins married in 1927 but I have no idea of her maiden name.

Hi Dave

Thanks for the catch!
Yes this is a different Cornelius so picture has been removed.
I've checked but have not found any picture of Cornelius "one L" Keleher yet.

Edward and Robert Carr

I noticed that John Conner transfered Edward Memorial# 40931049 and Robert Carr's # 40931052 memorial to you..

I was wondering if they were part of your family line? And if they were do you have any more info on them and their parents. They were my great grand uncles... I am trying to find out where in Ireland their parents lived and when they came over to here..

Thanks Dave! I added at the end of his bio the information you sent me. I wanted to make sure it was exact and I wasn't positive what you wanted me to add. Thanks.

RE: Archibald Lillie
I'm delighted to meet you! Let me check on your Basset ? Tomorrow.....we just returned from Seattle (UW football!) and I'll need to pull that info up on my laptop. Regarding the Lillie connections, I'm probably going to drive you nuts with requests! But I'll wait a couple of days to see what I need, if anything:) I did just now transfer a few of the Lillie memorials that I could see were direct ancestors to your brother-in-law.....looks like he & my Jerry are cousins! I sent you an email earlier that outlines Jerry's Lillie connection.

Will get back to you soon! Julie
