Next to all the wonderful volunteers who will take tombstone photos, I especially like the new link functions and the lengths Findagrave has gone to respect both family and volunteers efforts to create significant memorials while still giving full credit to the original creators both in name and in numbers. Thanks Findagrave!
I would be remiss if I didn't also express my gratitude to ROAGK volunteers who have found burial places and have taken tombstone photos as well, incuring costs for which they get little or no credit.
My hat's also off to findagravers building memorials and virtual cemetery combinations providing a vehicle to greatly enrich other researchers. Their time, energy and expense are also very impressive.
Most but not all of the listings are my ancestral lines. If my family but your connection is closer I will be happy to transfer to you with a very few exceptions in which years of study and collecting documentation and conferring with other long time researchers and genealogists have proven that online family trees are rife with error concerning the individual. Peter Thomas Hull is one of those people.
Corrections or additional info is very welcome
PLEASE use the EDIT/SUGGESTION functions to request links so I don't have to try to read my own awful handwriting and take twenty minutes to do a one minute task. Please include the name of the person with the number. Typos happen.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Only do this when you feel better. Thanks so much.
|Reg||RE: Ida Lewis|
I hope below is enough documentation to support my Find A Grave suggestion.
- My connection is through my husband, Ray Hunter Carson, Jr.
b. Pittsburgh 1959.
- Ida Mary Carson was a daughter of John Blythe Carson, who was my husband's great-grandfather's (George Blythe Carson) brother.

George Blythe Carson (b. Md; d. in Morgan, Allegheny, PA)
Find A Grave# 71144323
(brother to JOHN BLYTHE CARSON who was IDA'S FATHER.)
(married to Dora Hunter from Kanawha, WV.)
4. My husband's GG-gf was:
Find A Grave# 14316660
(married to Elizabeth 'Betsy' Blythe.)
- I can't locate John B's grave, but according to West Virginia Death index:
Name: John B. Carson

Birth Place: Scotland
Death Date: 4 Nov 1925
Death Place: Charleston, Kanawha, West Virginia

- Passenger list 17 Oct 1854, ship: Enterprise: John B. came across the ocean with his family (James & Elizabeth Blythe Carson) @ 14 y-o from Scotland.
- Note: John B.'s grandparents: John and Elizabeth Blythe, are listed abt 12 names above his on the passenger list, but died on board (cholera?)
- 1860 census for Boone, VA: John B. is listed with his parents.
- 1880 Elk, Kanawha, WV census: Ida Mary Carson shows up in John B's family @ 8 y-o. Ida's mother was Henrietta Fredrica Seafler (1846 PA-1910 WV).
- WV Marriages Index: Ida M Carson married Clermont E Lewis 1892 in Kanawha, WV
- There is also a John Blythe Carson public family photo on Ancestry, where 'Ida Carson Lewis' is pictured with her name listed.
I appreciate your diligence. I hope you are feeling better. Let me know if you have any questions. Best regards, Regina Carson

|Robyn Pauley||Alice Amanda Hoagland Tucker|
I was so pleased to see you had created a memorial #143665477 for great grandmother, Alice Hoagland...and right before my birthday too...couldn't have received a nicer present. I have been searching for this info that Laura Hoagland found, but have not been successful. You two rock as the best genealogist team ever!!! I can't wait to grown up and be just like you two.
I know you two have done all the work, but I would sure love it if you would consider transferring her to me.

|Lula Willard Keefer||Henry Clark O'Dell|
Thank you for your recent interest in the memorial for Henry Clark O'Dell. I have made the correction of his middle name from Clay to Clark. Thank you for letting me know; it is most appreciated.
Please remove the death cert from the memorial. I would like my ancestors to be remembered without the death certificate on their memorial

|Bonnie's Daughter||Robert Simpson|
Thank you so much for transferring Robert to my care.
|Diane Woodard||RE: Summers family in Phillips Cemetery|
Thanks for looking for me. Really appreciate it a lot.
|Diane Woodard||RE: Phillips Cemetery|
Here are the ones I was wondering about:
Opal Ellen Summers-(Crawford)
Alice Amanda Summers- ( Dawson)
Ocie O. Summers- (Drake)
Clarence Arnold Summers
Cossie E. Summers
Delbert Arnold Summers
Patrick Ira (Pat) Summers
Ronald Lee Summers
I am trying to connect them to the Phillips who are also buried in the Phillips Cemetery.
There is a Lilburn Phillips and a Lilburn Strothers Phillips buried there. James Phillips would have been one of the younger sons born to Lilburn and Mima Phillips.
Thank you for writing back,
