Currently reside in Cuenca, Ecuador and love it here!!! Ancestors are Barrows, Hunter, McKinley, Gammon, Alton, Minnick/Kurtz on my father's side. Bell, Bass, Cooper, Cottey, Allen, Ellis, Nixon, Hoff, Larison, Blackford, Bonnell on my mother's side.
I traveled 7,000 miles a few years ago taking pictures of ancestors tombstones and in 1 instance of every stone in a cemetery located on a high hill in the middle of a coal mine.

 | Wenatchee entries Judie, I do not know if I helped you. Your memorials were there and I had a duplicate which I deleted. The changes you wanted were on yours. I do not see Henry Schaefer in Find a grave yet. Rosalie | | | Jim McEathron
 | Re: John and Nancy Ann Potts Nixon Thanks for your excellent work in locating the graves of John Nixon and Nancy Ann Potts Nixon in the Nixon Farm Cemetery in Martins Ferry, Belmont Co, Ohio. This confirms some information I already had and added some new information. On Google Earth and Google maps I have located the farm at 72105 Jones Rd, Martins Ferry (current residents Don and Angela Feenerty) as you reported.
What puzzles me is the link to the map of the Nixon Farm Cemetery, which is done with very helpful detail. It appears the link is to the wrong map. I've found the location on Google, and it's actually of a spot about 60 miles away in Washington County OH, just west of the town of Waterford and across the Muskingum River from Beverly. It identifies some farmland along Wolf Creek. I have a reprinted edition of the 1875 Atlas of Washington County showing this land. It appears it was then owned in separate parcels: the easterly by W. M. & G. E. Nixon, the westerly by Jas Nixon. (Are they possibly descendants of John and Nancy Ann?)
I know some of the Nixons did move to Washington County. John and Nancy Ann's grandson, Irvin Charles Nixon, was born in Belmont County 2 August 1825 but at some point moved to Washington County, where he married Sarah Ann Smith, born in Washington County 25 May 1827. (Their son, Edgar T Nixon, is my great-grandfather.) Sarah Ann Smith is the daughter of Samuel Smith and Levina VanClief. Levina was born 1 Feb 1805 in Washington County and died there 23 May 1865. About 30 years ago I located her grave about a mile southwest of the farmland shown in your map. It's in Cedar Hill Cemetery on Righteous Ridge Road in Waterford, Washington County, OH. Her widower, Samuel Smith, eventually moved to LaFarge, Wisconsin, where he and his son Edgar T Nixon are buried.
Sorry this is so long, but thought the information might be helpful to you and others looking at this website.

 | Pioneer Cemetery Photo You placed a photo on the page for Pioneer Cemetery at Cherry Grove in Montgomery County, Indiana. I thought at first this cemetery was a duplicate of Old Pioneer Cemetery at Waynetown in Montgomery County, Indiana, but it is not. The photo you posted to Pioneer Cemetery at Cherry Grove belongs to Old Pioneer Cemetery at Waynetown. Therefore, would you mind removing your photo of the Old Pioneer Cemetery from the Pioneer Cemetery page? (you may need to contact findagrave admin at info@findagrave.com)
Thx.
