I have been researching my Roots since 1974. My Grandmother Annie Elizabeth Scroggins Huffman told me when I was a child... "Kathy don't forget the ones who came before, if you do, they will be lost." I earnestly try to keep a record of each person's life, in that way they live on in history. The cemeteries of Old Liberty, near Scotland, Van Buren Co., Arkansas, eight generations of my family, Lost Corner, near Cleveland, Conway Co., Arkansas also eight generations, Robertstown, Conway Co., Arkansas, Walnut Grove near Hector, Pope Co., Arkansas, Cedar Creek and Mount Zion on the Pope/Conway Co. Line, Lowes Creek, near Branch, Gage and Crossno, near Etna, Cemetery Ridge, near Webb City, all in Franklin Co., Arkansas, Caulksville, Logan Co., Arkansas, Rock Creek, near Cozahome, Campbell, Scribner, Landis, all in Searcy Co., Arkansas are my family's cemeteries but you'll be able to find me anywhere on this earth creating memorials and leaving flowers for family and friends, Thanks to FindAGrave. |
My OBJECTIVE like most of the contributors on FindAGrave is to PRESERVE the HISTORICAL RECORDS of those who came before.
My Home Page "Kathy's Kin" on Rootsweb.com is updated periodically. Please feel free to use any data from my database that pertains to your family, that's why I post data online, to help folks find their family.
Genealogy is my "Magnificent Obsession".

|Stephen Wilson||Robert H. Spindle|
I am helping a friend research Robert H. Spindle, B: 18 Nov 1855 in Coffee County, TN. The 1910 census shows he was living in Coffee County, and the 1920 shows he was living in Coffee County. He died in 1937 in Cooke County, TX, living with his son. The f-a-g shows he died in 1909 in Coffee County. Is this a mistake on his death date or are there 2 Robert H Spindles from Coffee County, both born about 1855 and both have wife named Alice? Thanks. Steve
|Lynn Martz||Robert Scroggins|
If you ever visit Grandview Cemetery in Center Ridge I would like a photo posted for Robert Scroggins and of his mother Mary McCuinn Scroggins. Thanks!
I meant the 1940 census not the 1930, sorry. I also have a picture of his headstone
Hey Kathy, By any chance are you related to the Stobaugh's? I have researching my family tree. My great grandmother was a Stobaugh. I just thought you might be related. Let me know.
|Sharon Montgomery||Charles Wakefield Beavers II|
Thank you for all your hard work on these cemeteries---many of my ancestors are there. I wanted to let you know that John Henry Beavers and Elzady Adeline Tacket are my great-grandparents. John was murdered in 1893, and Elzady remarried William Robert Harvey. John and Elzady only had one child, Mittie Amanda Jane Beavers May 13, 1891. Hope you will correct the info on Charles Beavers II (Old Liberty Cemetery). We are still searching for Carter Beverts, who appears to be the father of the original Charles Wakefield (Winfield) Beavers. Also trying to prove positively Charles' middle name, as it is written in the 1860 as Winfield Beverts, living in his grandparents' home (Charles Owen) with his mother Elizabeth and two siblings.
|Don Hansen||Mary Ella Grubbs Funkhouser|
Kathy, you left a flower on the memorial for Mary Funkhouser in Graceland Cemetery, Shelby, NE. Related to her? If so, contact me at email@example.com to exchange information.
|Jacklyn ||RE: Margaret Lynn Hall|
Pearl Lynn was born the year her mother died and is 5 in the 1900 census. In 1910 she doesn't show up. Was she married at 15, living with a relative, or passed on? I don't know. My grandfather had a sister, Pearl Lynn, b. 1891 and we don't know what happened to her. These girls just seem to disappear.
Thank you for your other information. It was very helpful.

|Wilma Easley||Summers Family|
David D. Summers who is buried in this cemetery was my grandfathers uncle. I have researched the Summers back to the 1700s. I can help you with this parents, etc. firstname.lastname@example.org
On the Dorothula Emmaline "Emmer" Watts Huffman memorial page i have some information you may want to add in your obituary section..
First-Isophene's (#40014893) husband was named CLAY OWENS #40014908 and he died on May 7 1971, . He had No middle name. He and Isophene were good people, My Mother(Rena Stillwell), husband Shorty Huffman( your uncle) and I stayed overnight with them on their country home back in 1961. I remember they had daughter in Air Force. Their home was near Hoxie or minturn i believe ????
Again the correct name for Shorty is Charlie Shelton. YOu have him referenced on a few memorials as Shelton Charles. I hope you find time to change this to allow proper searches.
I have seen your post on several of my relatives so we may just be kin :). My name is Penny (Martin) Jackson, I am the daughter of Gary Martin, son of Elbert Martin, son of William Mathew Martin, son of Peter Martin. If you would like to contact me my email is EJPenny72@yahoo.com
