RE: Hi Patricia
I know where the cemetery is.We have not been successful finding his grave. We need to be there sometime when there is someone who can look it up and tell us where it is. I also have an Uncle who died as an infant at this same cemetery. I would like to find his grave as well. His last name is Bench and he died in 1927. I have a map of the cemetery, but need directions to these grave sites. Thanks for all you help.

memorial transfer
Thank you for creating the memorial for my father-in-law. This connection had great meaning for my husband as Henry died when my husband was a small boy. Along with creating memorials for family members if needed I would like to take care of my father-in-laws memorial now. I hope that you are ok with this request. My account number is #48397057. Henry Cook is # 106948144

RE: Good Morning
Hi, Alice. I looked for obit, but couldn't find it. Seems like there was an article in the Brownsville Times (Brownsville, OR) that stated that Dora Walker was going or had attended the funeral.

Glad to see you saw the new Bournes photos. I put in those re-do requests a little over a year ago since I had no idea where the property was actually located and didn't want to do it myself without that info, although I am only a few hours away.

I remember we corresponded about the Bourne book written by the author I believe on the west coast and you had said you were able to get a copy. I'd really like to read what he has on William & Catherine, since I have not seen the evidence that William married a Bourne cousin.

RE: Hi EmLynn
Forgot the rest. I've noticed people's names misspelled between documents and gravestones. I had one relative that had 10 different spellings over the years on legal documents. Census takers were the worst. Also that far back there was no such thing as a legal name change being needed. Many people adjusted the spellings on the last names to make them more "American." I'd say more than likely the errors on the stone.

The old house is gone now. Mr Stinnett had started replacing it but suffered a heart attack that required major surgery. Before he could get back to it too much damage had been done by water. He built the new house on the foundation of the old.

RE: Hi EmLynn
I'm sorry it took me so long to get the Bournes photos retaken. Between sickness and injury last year was a bust. I can send you a hard copy of the photos or email you a copy. Just let me know.

re: Catherine Bourne Memorial# 36916472
Hi Alice, I was asked to reshoot the Bournes stones. On Catherine's her name is spelled Catharine and her date of birth is 1765 (I think the memorial said 1763). There's also additional info below on Williams stone. I know when going back that far you always end up with conflicting info. I also know stones aren't always correct. Just wanted you to know :)
