I am unable to travel to different cities to search for gravesites of our relatives. Needless to say, I was thrilled when I found the Find a Grave website and all the wonderful, helpful people on it. I have found so many of our relatives listed and have had wonderful people that have been willing to search and take photos for us. |
If you would like to use one of my photos on your family tree, help yourself but please list me as the photographer.
DO NOT use my hard work on another cemetery website or put your name as the contributor on one of my photos. That's just not fair or considerate.
If you have data that you would like for me to add to the memorials that I have created, please send it to me and I will update it as soon as possible.
I am posting memorials using the Find a Grave guidelines as I see them. If it is not to your liking, I'm sorry. I WILL NOT respond back to hateful and ranting messages. So don't bother to send them.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial that I have listed to a family member if they are not in my family's trees. Please be sure to add your member #, the person's ID number and your reason for wanting the transfer when making the request.
Please use the edit button at the top of memorial pages to make data corrections or additions. I'm sorry but emails without a memorial # will be deleted. I don't have the time to search out the internet to find who you are talking about.

|John Wayne Hickman||Andrew Hickman|
Not sure what the question concerning Andrew Hickman would be? However, as you will note, I posted on that marker, as well as several other of my GG Grandfather's brothers that they are not buried at Sardis. However, a search of Find A Grave did not turn up any grave sites for any of them. But, please be aware that those markers are in the Cemetery at Sardis. I have collected several pictures of the brothers and have posted them, and hope to find more. My GG grandfather is buried there and some of my relatives placed those marker for several of Joseph Mastin Hickman, that served in the Civil War. There is one for John Thomas Hickman, Green L Hickman, Andrew Jackson Hickman, William Lumpkin Hickman and Stephen Duke Hickman.
Sorry for the confusion. Are you kin to the McDonald's of Georgia? I worked with Virginia D McDonald of Macon, GA for several years back in mid 1990's

I have a cousin who is also a direct descendant of Lauchlin McDonald who would like to manage his account.

Thanks anyway. Maybe I'll get some information sometime from daughter's dad, if he even knows. He didn't keep up with any of his father's siblings and their children. The Clegg clan is huge!!

Thank you very much for the obit and the additional information. It has all been added.
Are all her children now deceased, because I wouldn't want to run afoul of the rules and place living survivors in the obit? If they are, could you send me their information for my genie program? My daughter is T.G. Clegg's granddaughter (Annie's husband's brother) and I am trying to keep it current for her.
Thanks!! You can send the information to my email address on my Contributor page if you have anything you don't want posted on the site.

You are so welcome!
Thank you for the Janik obit, added it today. Hope all is well your way. I just started back up today, I took a break and re-learned to Crochet. I've made over 50 pairs of slippers, and about 5 afghans. Arm knitted a Scarf. And now if I could have a voice activated computer, I'd Crochet while Researching! Happy Hunting, Mz Lois!

Could you please tell me how you know that Lauchlin McNeil McDonald's parents were Angus & Christian McDonald? He was my 3rd Great Grandfather. Thank you so much for maintaining his memorial.
