I would like to thank everyone whose hard work has been so beneficial to researchers world-wide. This is an amazing website!|
Also, a special thanks goes out to the volunteers in my area who have done such a wonderful job. You all are my inspiration.
My mission is to pay it forward by helping others find ancestors who have been lost by time, distance, and untold stories.

I don't have any information on that. I do have a divorce date of 14 May
1866. But I just got that from another family tree. I don't have a good
source for it. It is a bit unusual. But the more research I do, I'm
surprised by the number of divorces I find way back. I didn't think that
they were as common as they seem to be.
Good luck, Happy Thanksgiving,

She was living in the Oak Hill community at the time of her death. Oak Hill is just outside Nortonville, KY.
I pursued this avenue when I discovered that the burial of another family member had been handled by the same funeral home. I'll check with them and see if they are o.k. with me releasing the information.

I'm confident that she was buried along with other family members in a cemetery in the area.
I'm hoping this information will be of value to someone else out there who cannot... for whatever reason..find a record of death and/or burial of a loved one.

I'm updating my own post from a recent inquiry about the death and burial of my great grandmother, Mary Ella (Skinner) Knight. I finally found a record of her funeral & burial in a record held by the attending funeral home. It states the date as Mar. 23, 1914, the name of the community where she lived, and gives information regarding the cost of the funeral and names of the people making arrangements. No death certificate is found for her death during that year or for 1915. Finding this record was an unexpected treasure and I'm be forever grateful to the owners of this funeral home who took the time to look thru their records and call me when it was found. While I still have no "paper proof" as to where she was buried, I'm
Check the death date for Melvin Bethel please.

I do not have any information on the mother, or anything further for Mary. I was surprised to see that my birthdate information from the Ca Death Index was not accepted or acted on.
