Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a retired engineer after working at GE for 32 years. I was widowed after a 58 year marriage.

Thankfully, I am still very active and healthy at the age of 84. Most of my life I have ridden bicycles. I rode over 78,000 miles between 1980-1990 and I have walked over a million steps (yes, I kept track!) That explains the right hip replacement!

I volunteer two days a week at our local museum photographing items for archiving. I also volunteer two hours a week at our hospice thrift store and, of course, spend endless hours on FAG!

I became interested in Find A Grave when I was working in genealogy with my significant other, Joyce Larsen, and we discovered this site.

When I take photographs, I take a broom, a knife for trimming around the edges and often get down on my knees and sometimes my stomach to get a good photo. I really hate to see photos of mud or leaves and grass on the headstone (especially the military ones!)

I will be happy to transfer a relative to you, or make corrections/additions. Please use the EDIT BUTTON on "Correction Requests" for any changes and on transfers please INCLUDE YOUR ID NUMBER.

Mt. View Cemeteries
Hello Mr. Loker. Thank you for contacting people about having their "people" in the wrong Mt. View (Lakewood) Pierce County. I sent out a bunch of requests last night to move them to the right one too. Maybe between the two of us, we'll get the database cleaned up.

I've asked F.A.G. to "merge" or move them all a few months back but they didn't do it. Maybe once they are all moved, I'll ask them to delete it....AGAIN as I think I did it a couple of years ago too.

Best regards from Tacoma.

RE: Duplicate Cemetery
Thank you - I noticed that this was a duplicate cemetery...after I uploaded everything :( I was hoping there was an easier way to make the transfers.

back from Lloker RE: Duplicate entry
These are two different Laban Buoy's. I think the grave photos are mixed up. I will look into this further.

RE: Duplicate entry
which one do you want me to delete? Should I transfer them both over to you so you can manage them?

Robert Kaiser
Bayview Cemetery here in Bellingham has no record of Robert Kaiser or his wife Eileen being buried there.

RE: Bayview Photo for Kader & others
I actually have added the plots and attached them to the photos. Click on the photo and you will get the plots with vitals and burial date.

RE: Burgess Photo
I also use Windows Photo Gallery- But I Left click on the photo and go "Open with" and I choose Paint Or Paint brush. (don't remebmer right off hand). From there I Pick my color go & go to the right had side of the slide Choose if I want a circle, square etc. Then I pick how thick I want the line. From there I go to the photo and "drag" a box. To get the printing in the box I click on the "A" on the side menu bar, put the curser in the box and "Drag" a box. (to make it transparent you needd to go to the right had side and choose the transparent icon) One I have this done I do a right click and open text toolbar. Choose your font and size and type in the box. Hope this helps and good luck.

RE: FAG Changed Edit Procedures

I'm not quite understanding what you're wanting me to do. Could you please send me an email and let me know what this is and what you need me to do or why this is to be done? I've never heard of it before.

RE: Fred W. Unfried
Interesting !!

lawyer Mack Gose, Washington State Supreme Court Judge 1909-1915 was a Pomeroy native. He married Lelah Seeley... Lelah's sister Katherine "Kate" (Seeley) Allen was my step grandpa;, Robert "Seeley" Allen's mother..

His grandmother was the one behind the building of the Seeley Theatre in Pomeroy.. story about it on Gramp's findagrave page.. Robert Seeley Allen, Pomeroy City Cemetery.

Mack and Lelah built a grand 3 story Victorian on a corner lot on Pomeroy..sadly, it is no longer there.. we would love to someday come across a picture of it. As far as we or the Garfield County Museum knows, there isn't one.

Looks like you found more info on him ! Thanks!

I have found many times that when one spouse goes first they are creamated, then put in when the remaining spouse passes..

We may never know.. it's interesting though.

I am working on Normal Hill Cemetery in Lewiston, ID and there are tons of burials that aren't in their records. (although they are all on findagrave) seems people, even now days, bury ashes with another family member, and never notify the cemetery, or pay the fee... according to the city, if the fee isn't paid, they officially aren't there, and they won't add them to their records, even if they have a marker.
