RE: James Smith
Hi Mary Ann Thank You so much for your time. I received a message today from a gentleman saying that James Smith does not show up in his search of all area cemetaries. I'm really confused now. I have his obituary. That's where I got the initial information for my inquiry. The people you mentioned are not in his line. The dates do not line up. The obituary was cut out of the paper. It does not show any newspaper or date it was published. Is there any place at the cemetery that would have the information for him?
Maybe you've already looked there. Anything else you could think of would be so appreciated.
Thank You

RE: James Smith

I am so sorry I haven't answered this message. That is not my James Smith. His wife at the time of his death was Lena Woods Smith. I was so hoping to find a grave for Rebecca Smith. She was born in 1868 in Missouri. She died in Woodruff County. I'll do some further checking about cemetaries in Woodruff County. Thank You so much. Ruth Wohl

I am so sorry I haven't answered your message. I have been very ill. In and out of the hospital. I'm better now and trying to play catch up. It doesn't look like that's my James Smith. Thank You so much.

A sincere THANK YOU for finding and taking a picture of my mother-in-law's headstone. I wasn't able to be at the funeral, so having this picture is very special to me. It is a BEAUTIFUL headstone, for a BEAUTIFUL woman.

Much gratitude!

RE: James Smith
I'm not sure if I thanked you for going out to the cemetary or not. The dates I have for him on this site, I took from his obituary. I believe they are accurate. His first wife was Rebecca Smith. His second wife is Lena Woods Smith.Lena was mentioned in his obituary. Could I asked you to perhaps call the cemetary and see if they have a James Joseph William Smith listed there. His full name was on the obituary. I would appreciate it so much. Any questions, you can email me at or my cell phone is 239-2181970 Thanks Again Ruth Wohl
