Avid genealogist, writer, and photographer.
As a genealogist and family historian, I believe it's vitally important to honor our deceased loved ones, and to remember their lives with accurate information. If you find any errors in my memorials, please let me know. My memorials are a work in progress and changes are made frequently as new information is found, so please check back often.
The vast majority of the memorials I've posted are related to me directly, by marriage, or, are dear friends who have gone before me. I'll also post memorials for others found through my research who have no existing memorial on this site. I have many more to add, and numerous pictures to post.
Please visit my Sisters of Christian Charity virtual cemetery in honor of the many religious women who've dedicated their lives to helping others.
My thanks to those who have posted memorials for my relatives who are also yours. Your work has saved me the trouble of scouting cemeteries in hopes of finding that elusive gravestone.
Many thanks, also, for the wonderful people who've built the Find A Grave website and to all who have supported it. Your work is a blessing for many.

 | Horton, Bethel Cemetery I found another Horton in Bethel, I added the memorial. If it is a family member, maybe you would like it transfered to you? Tom | | | Louis Gruntz, Jr.
 | Edit Request I am a distant cousin of William Charles Richard (Find A Grave Memorial# 58284904); I am related through his mother Barbara Jenny Richard. I am attempting to link the Find a Grave Pages for all of the Jenny Family descendants; I have created pages for William's wife and some of his children and linked them to your page. I have also created pages for William's parents, Charles Richard (Find A Grave Memorial# 98649020) and Barbara Jenny Richard (Find A Grave Memorial# 98647068) The information I have is that William was born in New Orleans in Aug of 1888 (I do not have a specific date). Would you be kind and edit your page to include his birth information and link him to the pages of his parents, Charles and Barbara.
Thanks

 | William Legendre I added dates and his parents' names, and would be glad to transfer him to you if you want. You could then add more information, if you know the family and know that those living wouldn't mind being mentioned on his memorial page. | | | jane Mangum
 | Ela 67516980 I have made the correction and link you specified. I really like to see families joined. Thanks- As I am not related to these people would you like for me to transfer them to you? How did her mother become a Savoie?

 | RE: Sister Annella Simon Thank you for your kind words. The nuns have always been very special to me. Sister Pierre Faber, SSC was a cousin of mine. She died in 2009 at the age of 101! I have photographed the entire cemetery although I have only posted about half so far. Unfortunately many of the flat stones had been overgrown by grass as to almost be illegible. I did the best I could to uncover them to take a photo but I will go back next summer to see if I can get better photos of the ones that were overgrown. I am sure the good sisters are praying for us from Heaven. Thanks again. | | | Soul Searcher
 | Harold Horton Added the link and transferred to you. Once done, it changed the name to someone else as contributor ? Anyway you now have management of his memorial. | | | John Burbank
 | BURBANK FAMILY Thank you Alexa for the virtual cemetery and the research you have done. This is helpful and just may help me tie these into the larger Burbank family.
