Thanks so much for the info. Are you a relative to Mr. De L'Hoste? If so, I will be glad to transfer the record to you.

Williams and Collins Cemeteries
Sebastian

Thanks for your comments on the Cemeteries. There does seem to be some confusion regarding these Cemeteries.
The De Soto Parish site here: http://files.usgwarchives.net/la/desoto/cemeteries/williams.txt
Indicates that this is the Williams Cemetery and gives the same description that was used in Mary Collins Landins except that she called it the Moses Collins Jr. Cemetery. And you will note that when I added that cemetery I included the description that Mary used in her book.

The Williams Cemetery at Find a Grave
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=69310&CScn=williams&CScntry=4&CSst=20&CScnty=1124&
Gives no description for the location of the Cemetery.

I also thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will do further checking and change the errors.

Thanks Sebastien for your cautiousness
I want to share the notes that I have for James.
I am out of state now and do not have the full transcription of Moses Collins Williams succession which was recorded DeSoto Parish in 1874 and includes the statements that both he and his brothers Weston and Samuel P were living in Washington Co., Texas.

While I have used the research of Mary Collins Landin's, book titled 'The Collins and Travis Families and their Allies' published 1982 I have also completed much of the research myself. I got original documents from the DeSoto County records in Mansfields in about 1997.

Moses Collins Williams was the brother of my 4th great grandfather Henry Lightfoot Williams Birth 7 JUL 1811 in Georgia Death 3 MAY 1892 in Many, Sabine Parish, Louisiana

If you want further documentation, I can provided that when I return home in about 3 weeks.

Thanks again for your safekeeping of this ancestors memorial.

Koch Cemetery
I transferred ownership of a couple of Koch family members to you. We were just passing through the area and took some photos. You seem to know about the family and would be able to add or change information as needed. I'm sure that there are probably some more memorial pages from that cemetery that I started, if you know anything about those people and would like to add or change information, let me know and I will be happy to transfer them to you, also. Thanks for the correction concerning Louise and Otto. You know what they say about the word assume and one of these days I will learn not to assume that a male and female buried next to each other doesn't mean they are husband and wife. Again, thanks for your input!
