I played guitar for 47 years until a tragic accident immobilized three of my playing fingers. I have a fascination with cemeteries, and love to keep up my respects for those whom have passed on. I have visited several cemeteries, but my traveling has come to a stop for now, as I am unable to travel. Please feel free to contact me anytime through Find A Grave, or my email.
RE: Messages So sorry to read that you've been sick -- I hope you get to feeling better soon! As always, thank you for leaving tokens for my loved ones. You are always welcome to leave flowers in any or all of the virtual cemeteries I maintain. As I have said before, I very much appreciate any and all respectful notes and flowers left on the memorials in my cemeteries.
As I've said before, my work schedule has gotten so busy that I can't spend as much time as I would like to on Find A Grave, but I try to come here every few days to leave flowers for my loved ones, the "other people dear to my heart," and occasional others (mostly notables I respect on their birthdays and Angel Days). I came here today to leave a birthday token for George Washington and Angel Day tokens for Sophie and Hans Scholl. If there's anybody else you want me to leave a token for while I'm here, I'd be happy to. Of course, I plan to visit your dad and Lynda Prunier today when I leave flowers for my loved ones!
RE: Mark Thank you also for visiting my loved ones so many times. Like you, I haven't been spending as much time on Find A Grave as I used to -- in my case, because I've been crazy-busy with work and family issues and because my computer system doesn't always mesh well with banner ads. I try to come here every few days to leave flowers for my friends, relatives, and the "other people dear to my heart," as well as occasional others. But unfortunately, I don't have much time or energy left to do much more than that most days, so I can relate to your last post. On a lighter note, I'm glad you're doing okay!
RE: close to my heart I now maintain 14 virtual cemeteries, so they don't all automatically appear on my Find A Grave page. Under "Virtual Cemeteries" on my page, you should see a link that says "View all Virtual Cemeteries..." If you click it, all my cemeteries should appear on your screen, including my "Other People Dear To My Heart" cemetery. Trust me -- I didn't delete it!
RE: Mark Thank you so much for your sweet tribute to Carol -- I'm sure she would have loved chatting over a cup of coffee with you! I'm sorry to hear about your memory loss....Please know that you're in my prayers always. If there's anything I can do for you, remember I'm just a click away...!
RE: Mark Thank you...You've done so much for me already, but I have one more favor to ask of you. When you have the time, please leave something nice for my friend Carol Admire. She was a good friend of mine from a writers' club I belong to. She was a very positive person with a terrific sense of humor who loved astrology, metaphysics, nature, and riding her bicycle. She was killed in a freak traffic accident last weekend. :( I made a memorial for her to today and have a link to it on my page.
