I live in North Carolina. |
I have five children, eight grandchildren,
soon to be six great grand children. Genealogy has been a hobby for about forty years
(I'll soon be seventy)and a passion for the past ten years or so.
With all my in-laws families & friends I have surnames too numerous to mention.
Most are from the North Carolina mountains & foothills.
Caudill is my maiden name so,here are a few of my main surnames. Caudill>Medley>Joines>Evans>Carpenter>

I do not know this family, and I'm not sure why I added this memorial. I might have thought at the time there was a connection. The most help I can offer is to direct to the writer the memorial for the brother that I posted, William, as it includes the obituary, from which the man in France might be able to contact some living family members.

We checked 4 area papers with no luck. I'm so sorry!
Here are the papers, so you don't duplicate efforts:
Fullerton News Journal
If you happen to learn that the death date of January 23, 1922 was incorrect, perhaps from obtaining her death certificate, we would be happy to look again.
Good luck in your search.

I checked my Wolbach obits and didn't find one under the name Mendel either. We will look in other papers the next time we visit the Historical Society. Maybe we will get lucky and it will give the date Wm Cook died and we could find out about that death.

I saw the nice photo you posted, so I transferred her to your care. We have posted obits for Wolbach, which should have included her death date, but apparently didn't find hers. If you have an exact death date, please let me know, and we will look again.

Hello: Since you are related to the Pardew clan, do you know anything about Augustus M. Pardew and his brother, Leander L., who both died during the War of Northern Aggression? They were sons of Thomas and Nancy Pardew, Wilkes County.
Thank you very much in advance for your time...!

Thank you so very much for your generosity in transferring both Annuel Sumner and his wife Lucinda Phillips Sumner to my care. I have now successfully connected them with some of their 10 offspring, and as more information comes my way and time permits, will be adding to OUR memorials.
Your willingness to share is much appreciated.
With regards and sincerest thanks,

You placed Linda in the Old Johnson Family Cemetery in Traphill. She is in Johnson Family Cemetery in Traphill on Grissel Tail Road Traphill. Could you switch her memorial? Thank you Carol Kennedy
