Bio and Links
Bio Photo Feel free to use my photos and biographical comments to enhance your genealogical projects. Crediting me as a source is a nice touch but not necessary.

Find-A-Grave is a wonderful site and it keeps getting better, aside from a few cranky old individuals who have grown delusional from their own perceived self-importance. It has evolved from a simple registry into a valuable genealogical resource. The links are especially helpful in following families and the biographical notes and photos are often invaluable resources. I give a hearty "thank you" to all who contribute.

I'm a native of Colorado, growing-up in the suburbs west of Denver (Lakewood, Golden), but I've lived in San Francisco, California for many years. I enjoy creating memorials and photographing stones, especially for veterans, being a Vietnam veteran myself.

I've spent countless tranquil hours at San Francisco National Cemetery and Golden Gate National Cemetery (both very close to my home), thinking about all those poor old veterans who gave their all, and a trip to Crown Hill Cemetery in Jefferson County, Colorado is always a treat. All 4 of my grandparents and 6 of my 8 great-grandparents are buried there, providing lots of pleasant nostalgia.

It was my pleasure. I work 1-2 blocks from the cemetery, so I just leave a few minutes earlier. ~Jan

I got the problem resolved with the two sets of parents. Could you check and see if I got it done properly? Lisa

RE: Koenig children
Margueretha Koenig 134601077

I checked her stone and all that is on the back is Titus 2v11 inscribed in German. It was difficult to make out the fancy script or I would have included that in the inscription.
A picture is on her memorial page now.
If you are fairly certain that she is part of the family buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in Colorado, you might send me the info to link her to her parents.

Regards
Mae

Super! I corrected the cemetery and will request photos for them tomorrow. It would be great if find time to photograph them when it's dry.

OMG - I think we both deleted her at just about the same time. I know my memorial was older but yours was in the right cemetery. LOL - I don't have her info any longer so since you have the photo, go ahead and recreate her memorial. Sorry about that!
