Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Illinois and love genealogy and find a grave. I like to try and fulfill any requests for fag and am willing to help anyone who needs it.
I am willing to transfer any sites I do to family members. Lately I am getting emails asking about Information on some people that I have input. Please use the EDIT BUTTON. I am not into how many photos I can post with the information like it is some kind of race to do the most. I just want to do the best job I can and I am always open for suggestions on my errors when asked.
This is a great site for people looking for genealogy family and for loved ones.

David Monroe Burke # 49815415
Hello Janet,

I would like to know your family relationship to my great-granfather David Monroe Burke #49815415?

Your previous email dated 09-08-14 you said the follwing:

"I have that picture but I will insert some of the pictures of Eileen and here is the obit I had on her. When I talk to my cousin he was close to his grandmother and she did a lot with him but he said that his grandfather was not around and that eileen divorced him and then married this Carl guy but Richard says he knows only that she said he was no good.(Carl)Richards dad Clete was not around his father and I think possibly because Eileen didnt ??? let him see him?? not sure I was around Eileen when she came to family gatherings and I always liked her Richard said when his grandfather was dying in the hospital that his dad and mom took him to see his grandfather before he died I have a picture of suppose to be one of the burkes and on the back it says couple of things? sue burk? my mothers sister(clete ? aunt) I love this picture and really would like to know who it is where do you live?"

Janet

The email itself clears up the matter or implies that you are not directly related to any of the Burke's and that it is our shared cousin, Cleotis Noris Helm F.A.G. memorial# 139950415, is the extent of your relationship to them is. His mother Ida Eileen BURKE Helm Find A Grave Memorial# 45359596, is my great-aunt.

I have various census years which include David and Susan Burke's children including my grandmother Vena, and her siblings:

George E. Burke (1883 - 1949)*
William Ora Burke (1886 - 1971)*
Susan (Bessie) D. Burke Rowlen (1889 - )*
Grover Cleveland Burke (1893 - 1962)*
Eileen I. Burke Ewing (1894 - 1987)*
Claude H. (Henry) Burke (1895 - )*
Ralph O. Burke (1898 - 1951)*
Edna B. Burke Wyatt (1902 - )*

My grandmother, Vena, is listed as either Vera, June, Gean, or Jean (Meeks) which is improper should be listed as Vena Meek within various sibling or parental obituaries which you have posted or that others have posted in find a grave memorials derived from various obituaries.

I want to link my grandmother into the family which you have created various meorials for. This is a family thing. If you are not directly related please let me know. If you can update the entires as I have requested before for the following:

Mother:

Susan Hedrick Burke
F.A.G. Memorial# 49815447

Siblings:

George E. Burke (1883 - 1949)*
William Ora Burke (1886 - 1971)*
Susan (Bessie) D. Burke Rowlen (1889 - )*

Grover Cleveland Burke (1893 - 1962)* F.A.G. Memorial# 58713265

Eileen I. Burke Ewing (1894 - 1987)*
F.A.G. Memorial# 45359596

Claude H. (Henry) Burke (1895 - )*
Ralph O. Burke (1898 - 1951)*
Edna B. Burke Wyatt (1902 - )*

If you do not agree to make the changes per the policy of F.A.G. I am reuesting the following be adhered to:

Transferring A Memorial
This is per Find A Grave’s FAQ’s:
How do I get a relative’s memorial transferred to me?

Please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial via the “Suggest a Correction” link on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial transferred to you. Also include in your request your unique Contributor ID # which is displayed to the right of your member name on your profile page.

Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations, this would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents. Bulk surname requests should not be made. Be advised that memorials listed as famous or maintained by Find A Grave will not be transferred.
You may also use the “suggest correction” feature to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above definition.

For members that receive requests, you can now honor those requests on the memorial page itself. Located in the upper right corner is the ‘Transfer Ownership” link. Follow the link and type in the Contributor ID # to whom you want the memorial transferred.

This action is PERMANENT and can not be undone. Your name will remain on the memorial as the original contributor, but you will no longer be able to edit bio, dates, etc.

What if a member will not transfer my relative to me?

If the memorial in question is a direct relative (within four generations) to you, and the original submitter is not family, then your wishes supersede theirs under our “Family First” policy. If they refuse to transfer your relative to you, contact the administration and we will work on it for you.

This is the most important stuff (for a volunteer) but not everything. After you register & join spend some time looking around. Most everything is self-explanatory. But if you have any questions they have both a FAQ’s & also a forum.

RE: Burke
I have not forgotten my great-grandmother or all the names of her nine children. You left out four of her childrens names one of which was my grandmother not listed on your webpage. I tried to have this remedied by you since 09-08-14, but you chose not to take action to include all of her children or to correct errors.

Therefore, I created a new webpage that includes all nine children. Sad commentary about someone who is not your relative, but rather a cousins relative who is actually related to me as well.

I wanted to work with you, but all you appeared to be doing is highjacking or controlling my actual relatives information. I have removed the picture of the grave that I took in person which is far better than the one you have posted and taken roughly five years before you created her webpage.

That photo is fine. I think I have a similar copy of it. I had a really good photo of Samuel, but I can't find it. My mother made an oil painting copy of it and No one knows where it is either.

RE: Harold and June Macklin
No, Janet, I'm not related to the Macklins. If you would like me to transfer Harold to you, just hit the edit and request transfer. Or if there is anything you want me to add, I will be happy to do that.
