Anyone is allowed to use any of my photos on their own family trees on Ancestry.com or other genealogical / family tree sites, personal, non-commercial use only, no other grave sites. All I ask is that you credit me with the photo. They are still copyrighted.

Hint: If the GPS coordinates of the plot isn't listed on any of my memorials, then all photos that I have posted starting on 1 Jun 2014 (and maybe some in the week prior), should have GPS coordinates of the plot in their Exif data.

When you add a photo to a memorial, make sure you choose from the drop down menu whether it's a Grave or a Person photo. It makes a difference in the order it's listed, the icon that it shows on it, and the count of whether that grave has actually been photoed or not.

Obituaries on memorials are against the rules, as either text or photo. It's in the FAQ. They are copyrighted, so it is a legal matter. You can summarize the basic facts, as that is not copyrightable, but do not include names of still living people as that is a privacy issue and against the rules.

Yes Frank, you may use my photos of Henry and Farley's headstones, all I ask is that you credit me for the photos. Thank you for asking.
I'm glad I was able to help you see photos of your great uncles's headstones.

RE: Old Summerour cemetery
Well if you are in Chatsworth. If you start from the Walgreens continue north on 411 hwy. It will be 7-8 miles. You will go through the city of Eton then to Crandall. You will pass a Kangaroo store on the right, it is next to Dewberry Cemetery. Keep going north, take the 5th road on the right. It is Summerour Church Rd. There is a church on the left called Amazing Grace Baptist Church. It used to be Summerour Church. Across the road from the church is Summerour Methodist Cemetery. Go on down passed the church and across the railroad tracks. As soon as you go over the tracks take the little road to the left. The Old Summerour Church Cemetery is there.

RE: Floyd Family Cemetery
I put in a response regards Dykes Street, there is another cemetery which is titled Floyd Cemetery. It is south of Cochran on Mac Thompson Rd, just past the Hart Cemetery Rd which turns left. The Floyd Cemetery is on the right, going south just before you get to highway 257. It is not identifiable on Google Earth if it is as indicated on my map, so it may be on a farm as a patch of trees. If it is on private property you will need permission to go on the property.

Mac Thompson starts as Dohl St off of W Dykes St in Cochran itself, then Dohl St turns into Mac Thompson Rd south of Emergency Rd Ls-1.

If you send me your email address I can send you a copy of the map. My email address is shown on my profile page.

RE: Floyd Family Cemetery
My mother actually took the pictures in the days prior to her death in 2001. But she left a map of burial areas and cemeteries. According to the map the Floyd burial place is out highway 26, Dykes St to the NE. After you pass the Bethany Church and Cemetery you go across a creek, just before you cross the next creek, at the start of a slight curve to the right, the Floyd burial place is on the right, just across the creek there is either an old home place or another burial place, marked 38 and 39 on the map. That second creek separates the two places.

If you get to Royal Phillips Rd you have gone to far and have passed the Floyd area.

Spring Hill
Spoke with a guy who has his parents interred at Spring Hill. I have it on my list but until I walk down the road in the woods I won't be able to tell the exact location.

RE: Hemphill McEntire Cemetery
Franz, I wish I could. It has been about 26 years since I went with my mother and cousin. I seem to remember that we pulled off the road and walked up to it.
I noticed that another contributor has posted the address, so I looked at the satellite view, too, but it didn't look familiar.
Who are the ancestors that you have buried there?
Hope you are able to visit and can get some great photos.
Please let me know if you do get the directions, as I hope to go again later this year.
