You meet all kinds of people on Findagrave... most of whom are helpful and co-operative. Just spending a few minutes a day on Findgrave can provide a great deal of genealogical input. Thank you for your co-operation! If I can assist anyone, please contact me.
My father, David Kennedy, was an avid genealogical researcher, so you could say, this was one of my inherited interests. He started his search in 1959 after meeting then Senator John F. Kennedy in Washington, DC. He asked my father if we were Catholic or Protestant Kennedys, after which Senator Kennedy suggested that since we were not Catholic, we must have entered the US via Northern Ireland. And the search continues...
Some of my direct lines are Kennedy, Clayton, Merritt, Head, Prothro, Crouch, Wright, Goodwin, Bledsoe, Breazeale, Smith, Guyton, Moorhead, Kirksey, Wyatt, Griffin, Richardson, Meyer, Johnston, Lott, Knox, Gaston, Barnett, Ray, Sharp, Alverson. I have been working on my genealogy since the 1990s. I always try to give credit to those who have done genealogical research ... just a very common courtesy.... Thanks y'all.

Thank you!!! I'm sorry I haven't sent you the pictures yet. I had my neighbor work on one of the pictures so it is more viewable and I want to add names to it for you. I hope to finish it up this weekend. Not sure if you got any snow this week, we had 6 inches.
|Gladys Hobbs||RE: Philip Ferguson|
I would love that but only if you want to.Thank you GH
|Judy Etheridge||Thank you|
Thanks cousin, Fran for all the help you have been over the last few days with my research of my Altman, Rountree family trees. I have learned so much about people I never new of. To think that I have found a new relative because of finding out about a baby girl that died on the day she was born in 1918 and all because you left a note on findagrave.
|Patricia Johnson||RE: Charles Furtick|
You're welcome. I have traced the Furtick family back several more generations and can provide info if anyone wants it.
I am having a heck of a time finding the grave for my great-grandfather - Manchester Rinaldo "Nallie" Richardson (born Aug 1866 in Barnwell). The last info that I can find is the 1930 census which indicates that he was living in Augusta, GA, with his daughter Pansy Richardson Russell (she is buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Augusta). Nallie's first wife was Harriet "Hattie" Holman (who died in 1908 in Florida). His second wife is Beulah.
Do you have any info on him?
|Bennett||RE: Military Units|
I grew up in the Padgett's Creek Baptist Church. I lived about half way from the church and
the Cross keys House. I am a direct descendent of
Ambrose and Elizabeth Holcombe Ray, his land grant
was part of where the Church and parsonage now
stand. I am related to many, and knew many others
who are buried there. I have enjoyed history all
my life. I would like to add as much information
to these find a graves as I can, to help other's
in their genealogy research.
How can I edit information on sites already

I surveyed the Clinton Cemetery in 2010 and that marker was not there. My photo is in the Moody plot at Daytona Memorial Cem. That cem was also surveyed in 2000 and no Moodys there. It's very possible the photo was added to the wrong cem.

You are quite welcome as always. I'm working on photographing Carter Ford Cemetery and it is a big one. If you need any other pics let me know.
Nice to hear from you. Wimsang

Would you like me to transfer Norma to you? I don't know much about her. It's her husband that is my distant cousin.
|Just Plain Nosy||RE: Pictures|
Thank you so much for your note. I really miss him.
