Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am originally from Hartsville, Darlington, Florence area of South Carolina. I am related to the Watkins, Williams, Browns, Kelleys , Kellys, McDonalds, and many many more. This is a great site for building family history to pass on to our children and grand children. God Bless and have a glorious day!

Revelation 21:4
King James Version (KJV)

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

P.S. Please take a moment to visit the memorial for Morgan Thompson . We went to High School together. Morgan was an orphan and had been living in the Boy's Home for a number of years. He had been talking for a couple of years about joining the Army as soon as he was old enough so he could get out of the Boy's Home. He joined the Army and came by school to show us his uniform. He had a smile from ear to ear! I will never forget how proud he looked in his dress uniform. He had just completed basic training and was on his way to Vietnam. A few short months later we got word that Morgan had been killed in combat. God bless you Morgan. You made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Freedom is not free. Through the sacrifices of many thousands of men and women like Morgan we have freedom. He was only 18! Cherish this freedom and never let it be taken away.

RE: Carroll Fordham
I had a request asking for more information on Carroll Fordham and how to tell which one was that
he had as being married to Nancy Moore Fordham, was the wrong one I told him to check their birth dates, states they lived & died in and their S.S. #.
He then requested Carroll's SS #. and that it would help others if the SS # were with or on memorials.
It is up to you if you use or add them to any memorials.
Example: In the late 1970's I was in a VA Hospital and at the end of the week there were five of us in the hospital with the same first, middle & last name. I have found 38 with the same name and three of us were born on the same day, month & year. 2 more with the same day and month. 8 with the same day or month.
Not in all cases but in a few cases the SS # will help to find the correct person. As you know or will find out, there are a lot of dead and living with the same name
I am only one of the thousands of the descendants of Ephrain & Hannah Fordham from the early 1600's England.
Does this answere your quistion?.

photo of Eratus "Era" Powell Edenfield's memorial
Johnny, thank you so very very much! You are a treasure and I hope you're trying to stay cool while out there fulfilling photo requests and going up & above the call of duty by taking other markers close by!!! I do not know Camille Andrew Sallas, whose marker is close to Era's. Can you tell me the section, plot where you discovered her marker?

RE: Terry Parker Class of 1959
Johnny -

Thank you so much. She was listed in the 1960 yearbook as a senior - that is the photo I uploaded. It also gives a brief description of the individual. What a dear, sweet person.

Stay blessed,

Parnell Cementry
Yes use the picks. you want. The Cementery i say is about 100ft. by 100ft. All you can see in the cem. is alot of trees and one head stone (William Parnell) that someone has put there years ago. I think others have been buried there too, maybe his wife (Martha Cooley) There might be other head stones that are lying on the ground and coved up with leaves and dirt. You will have to have a long steel rod to probe the ground to see if head stone are there lying down. email me and let me know if you get this. Thanks
