Retired Military. Started working on my Ancestors after my wife died and found a lot of the graves in our cemetery were not listed on FINDAGRAVE. I was born and raised in Dallas, West Oak Cliff to be percise, attended Sunset High School and then joined the Army. Retired in 1979 and worked for the VA for 28 yrs. Now retired for good and enjoying it. |
I will help anyone find a grave or headstone in either the Mount Olive Cememtery (used to be Big Spring Cemetery) or Trinity Memorial Park, in Big Spring, Tx.
(REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS WILL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH FINDAGRAVE POLICIES.)
If you find any errors in my Memorials please let me know so I can correct them.

|Cheryl Selman Gill||Paul Waples Camp|
Paul 'Waples' Camp was the son of Henry Doc & Martha (Mattie) Bills Camp. He is buried in the same town as his parents. On the obit for Mr. Cason V. Camp it states, Survivors are five sons, C. V. Camp Jr., of Houston, Ellis M. Camp of San Benito, Oscar L., Frank V., Paul E., and Robert l. Camp of San Antonio.
Cason's son's middle name is an 'E'. If you would like me to send you some other info, I would be more than happy. I just thought I would explain my request for the change of parents. Thank you very much for your time.

I think it would be a good idea to transfer Herman Morris to me. I am his only child in this area and would be glad to administer the site. Thanks.

Hi Bob, Transfer made. You take good care of Wanda Free's family. Just kidding, I know they are in good hands.

Transferred her memorial to you.
My Cardwells came from McMinnville, Tennessee. My gg-grandfather was Thomas Cardwell, who is buried in Roby Cemetery. My great-grandmother was Minnie Lee Cardwell Healer. We are related to the famous Cardwell Triplets, Faith, Hope & Charity.
The Free side I'm interested in is my husband's side of the family. His mother's maiden name was Free, the only daughter of Hiram Allen Free and Mamie Myrtle Wyly. I believe they ultimately came here from Tennessee as well, but would have to refresh my memory.
You're just up the road from me!

Your more than welcome!

I made the transfers, Bob.
I have been through St. Jo a number of times. Some of my families lived in Decatur, Stoneburg, and Ringgold before they stumbled into Oklahoma.
Unless your Millers came from Russia, we aren't related. My Millers were Germans who lived in Russia until 1875 when they immigrated to the USA. They lived in Ohio, Nebraska, and Kansas before coming to Oklahoma for the 1892 Land Run.
Good hearing from you. If I have any more memorials you would like to manage, don't hesitate to ask!
