I first discovered Find A Grave when I took a picture of a grave with my maiden name and wondered where they might fit into my family or if they did. Once I settled that curiosity I asked a genealogy group if there was a place to post the picture for others that might be looking for the family. That's when they told me about Find A Grave. Well from there I found more pictures of my families graves and know how good it makes a person feel when they find these things and learn more about their families. |
I have been working at this time mostly on one cemetery. If you find an error or have family that I have added let me know and I will gladly transfer ownership to you. These people lived interesting lives and they deserve having a memorial page reflecting that for the generations after them. If I have made a memorial for any of your family please let me know and I will gladly transfer ownership to you. In no way would I ever want to hold a memorial page hostage from the families they so rightfully belong to.
PS: Occasionally in adding memorials a glitch happens or a double click of the mouse occurs and unbeknown to me I accidentally add more than one. Please forgive me and nicely let me know of my error if you notice this. Thank you

Kinda odd isn't it. But when the "original" memorial is made and are linked to parents, the "original" memorial is always refer to in the sibling area (if there are other siblings), even its own memorial. Not sure why, guess its a Find-a-grave thing. Hope I explained that right. Anyway, if you would like me to transfer her memorial to you just let me know. Have a Great day!

In case you were wondering, the source on those "edits" I have put in (mainly plot numbers) -- is the book "Our People And Where They Rest: A Visit to 104 Old Cemeteries in Eastern Oklahoma," James W. Tyner, Maxine Tyner and Alice Tyner Timmons, American Indian Institute, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. 1970-1985, (Library of Congress No. QE99-C5-T97) There wasn't a place for me to put that in the edit form.
Thanks for all your help! Best wishes.

Thank you so much for transferring to me the memorial page that you created for my cousin Wilma M. Ford in Memorial Park Cemetery. This will enable me to link her with family. I know that you didn't have to do the transfer, so your kindness is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so very much for your generosity in transferring Joseph Manford Nuckolls to my care. I have now successfully connected him, and as time permits, will be adding to OUR memorial.
Your willingness to share is much appreciated.
With regards and sincerest thanks,
