I am a member of S.C.A.N. (Southern Connecticut Ancestry Network) which is a genealogy group located in Hamden, CT. Our goal is to post online all of the burials in our Town's Cemeteries. We started this project using the Hale Collection of CT Headstone Inscriptions, and the burial records from Hamden Plains Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Burying Grounds and Beaverdale Memorial Park.|
If you have any corrections, additions or deletions for any of my postings, please let me know.

I appreciate your adding the information. At this time I would prefer not to have their memorial.

Thank you so very much for the transfer of my ancestor grandmother. I really appreciate it and will treat it with care.

Thanks, Mona! You are are such an expert!! I appreciate your insight. Last time I went out to Beaverdale, the staff was SO helpful so perhaps I will inquire at the office. The groundskeeper met me at the burial sites and we "unearthed" about 8 graves. I scraped them all down and got the moss out of the letters and numbers. I think some of them had been underground for 20-30 years!! Monique

She is actually my 2nd great grandmother. My grandmother, Ruth Clock's mother, Marion Lillian Bray Gilbert, was the daughter of Minnie Louise (Bray) Gilbert.

Thnaks, I had her maiden name as Bebler... close, possibly an Americanization.

Thank you for including my uncle! I appreciate it. Would you change the spelling of his last name? It's Blanchet (one T) as it is on the stone.

Thank you!! I have them, but am always so grateful for such tidbits. I have a lot on other members of the extended family if I can be of any help.

Great job. Yes, if you like I will manage these Besom's. They are actually part of my Pennsylvania Beasom/Basom line.
Thank you for adding a piece to my family puzzle.
