Email me if you would like a better copy of any of my pictures. I have many family photos in addition to those on Findagrave. |
In my Rootsweb.com file if you see "TYPE: PHOTO" that means I have pictures.
I have been researching my family since 1980. Contact me if you have questions or information. I was born in St. Marys, WV. Parents moved to FL when I was 9. I came to MA to attend MIT and stayed here. I am an Electrical Engineer, retired from Raytheon and Bose (sound systems).
Click to see OLD PHOTOS of many more of my family and ancestors. Also see how I display 400 people in my Ancestor Family Tree on a 20x30 sheet with #10 & #8 type. This can be done with most photo programs. Email me if you want help doing it.

Hello Larry. I added an updated photo of the Ashbridge monument that now includes the inscription for Gladys. Could you please remove your older photo? Thanks, Bill.
|Aunty Dud||Richard Bond of Cornwall|
Hello cousin. ;) I am descended from the Bonds of Earth - mine stayed in St Stephens by Saltash until the early 1800s, when my grx2 grandmother, daughter of Jacob Bond, was born nearby. I'm curious how your emigrant Peter Bond was traced back to Richard of Earth!
... Ah, a little googling finds your rootsweb page about Peter Bond of Whitechapel, and the "tradition".
I wonder whether any Bond descendants in the US have considered DNA testing? I have found it fascinating and fruitful for the family that my Bond grx2 grandmother married into, i.e. testing the male line descendants to determine their paternal line. If you know of any who are interested, I could possibly come up with male-line descendants of a Bond brother or uncle of hers.
I haven't put the effort into tracing my Bonds beyond her grandfather, a Thomas born in the early-mid 1700s - but Thomas and Jacob both seem to have been stingy with their male offspring and I am having trouble finding any at all in a census from 1841 onward who seem to have reproduced. Because of the difficulty tracing beyond my Thomas, I'd be interested in confirmation of my line as of Earth too! Although I have to say I'm more sceptical of the US Bond connection with Earth than of my own. ;)
Let me know if you're interested; my email address is also on my profile. Nice to meet you!

Thank, Larry...I'll keep you posted. I was hoping that Julia had left something behind regarding her life with William...a photo...or some sort of reference to him.
|Jeri Engleby||Julia Burgess/William Frizzell|
Hi Larry. I'm not sure if you remember me...it's been awhile since we've been in touch. Julia Burgess Frizzell Alley is my g-grandmother. My g-grandfather is William Frizzell (her first husband). I have not been successful in finding any info. regarding the death of William sometime in the late 1880's. Have you have found any further info. since we last communicated? If you recall...they resided in the Kenova/Ceredo area in Wayne County, WV. I did hear that there are some Frizzells buried in the Docks Creek Cemetery in Wayne Co. I'm going to investigate...but there is nothing supporting this on Find A Grave. Can you help? Thanks!

|Ancestor Search||Benjamin Franklin Bond's first wife Nancy Sayre|
Thanks Larry for your additional sites on the Bond Family - I followed my line back to the year 1300 in England! Would you know which cemetery Nancy Sayre is at. I want to be able to connect my family memorial page of Mary Emaline Bond Pratt to her mother Nancy. I saw you also have the same picture of Liz Bond as our family owns! We always wondered who that was and why "Mother's Step Grandma " is written on the back of it in pencil and the front had Liz Bond written on it. In your collection do you have photos or any clippings about Benjamin Franklin Bond's first wife Nancy and also their daughter Mary Emaline Bond? I don't have anything on the two or even Benjamin. We would love to be able to get anything emailed to us regarding Benjamin, Nancy and their child Mary from you.

All of the names are the same and the pic you have on Find A Grave she said is her ggrandfather.
The email address she sent me, I guess was not correct. So I answered her back thru Ancestry.
I always get so excited about finding family.
I went to your Rootsweb , you have done a get amount of research and so lucky to have pictures.
Also, I think her last name is Jarrett.
I see you have that name also.

Grace Bell Bond is my 4th cousin.
A lady named Sandra had email me and said Joseph Jeff Bond was her ggrandfather.
So, I told her about you and that you had so much info and pics, you had to be related.
I have not heard from her yet
Do you know who Coopie is on Find A Grave he also has pics of the family on Find A Grave?
Thank you ever so much.
