Bio and Links
Bio Photo I'm an Arizona native now living in Indiana. I'm slowly but surely learning about genealogy. Arnold's, Duncan,s, Inman's, Street's and on and on. If I can help anybody with a picture in Southern Indiana or Northern Kentucky let me know.

Lena Mae Elliff
Janice,

The name of Lena Mae Elliff was wrong on my memorial for her husband, Alvie Elliff. Her correct name was Sena May Owens - Elliff.

Sena (59504627) died in 1968 and is buried in Rockport Cemetery with Alvie (51959945). This is confirmed with a Texas Death Certificate, #89493.

The information that you provided for Lena Mae Goodwin is correct. At the same time it is not for the same person, which was my fault because I had Lena and not Sena.

Thanks

The Ephraim Goss #4a in this entry is the Nephew of Ephraim #3a and Anne Workman Goss. He is the son of Ephraim Goss'(#3a) brother Frederick Goss #3a. Ephraim #4a married Ephraim #3a's daughter Sarah "Sallie" C Goss in 1823 and he died in 1849. I believe this is one of three 1st cousin marriage in my paternal line back to 1560s in Rothenfluh, BL CH!

My family has huge numbers of Fredericks and Ephraims! (and also Sarahs and Elisabeths)

My non-standard system of denoting Ephraims and Fredericks is to start with Frederick Gass/Goss (1701-1778 who immigrated in 1727) as #1a. the next generation is 2 then 3 etc. In several generations there were several Ephraims and Fredderick so I use a, b, c, etc to indicate the chronological order of birth in that generation.

I am not sure how to edit this entry. It is great that you got this picture of the tombstone. I think his wife's tombstone is in the Steirwalt cemetery in Ray Twp, Morgan County.

Arnold
I do not do research on Arnolds. I get request to link and edits. We have a facebook page at the Research Center also. Last week they were in a big discussion on Arnolds, and I added a few memorials that did not have stones. If I added Elmer and it was not correct let me know where it is and I will delete it.
Blessings
Anita
