Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born and brought up in Wales but now live in Lincoln England. I started genealogy in 2002 and now have my family back to 18c. I stumbled across this site whilst tracing American relatives and found lots of help and information.
Please don't assume I'm a relative because I left a flower or sponsored a memorial and please don't transfer without asking.

Please make yourself aware of the Frequently Asked Questions - Site Rules. These do tend to change often. Note the naming section with instructions for use on memorials. Prefixes & Suffixes in the name fields are not allowed and stop the search engine from working properly. This site covers World Wide cemetery and burial information, some choices offered for Prefixes and Suffixes (Prefixes/Suffixes/Military Information) might not match exactly your countries customs. The last name field should not be left empty as the search engine requires a query by last name. Other characters like *, --, (), {}, ~, ..., ?, "" or numerals, are not allowed in the name fields as they are not recognized by the search engine making the name un-searchable. Maiden names are automatically italicized. The naming rules (not Guidelines) exist for good reasons. LOTS of good reasons. Titles of any kind are not allowed in any name field. Within the new Edit system if you get a request with "Unknown" in RED within a field, then that field would be empty. (It will not put the word Unknown in that field.)

Rebecca Ryder/Cobb photo
As always, a big thank you to you and your volunteer team of photographers. I am wondering if, when you have the time, you might return to the 'Rebecca Ryder/Cobb' headstone and see if you can read/transcribe the inscription? I've heard that if you splash water on it, its a little more legible...! I desperately need the information on the headstone. Of course, if its miles out of your way, don't worry about it. Cheers for now and thank you once again for the photo. Kind regards, Peter (Perth, Western Australia)

Charles and Susannah Clarke
Thank you so very much for the information on the burial site of Charles and Susannah. Charles is the brother of my great-grandmother, Agnes Clarke Nicol, who emigrated to the USA in the 1880s.

If you have time to check that same index for Bilton and Ann Cawthorn Clarke, also of Lincoln, England, I would love to know where they are buried. They are Charles' parents, and my 2nd great grandparents.

I do so appreciate your help with Charles and Susannah. I found, and have visited, their great-grandson, Phil Nichols, who is now third generation Western Australian. It was the first contact between the two family branches since the 1880s. Gotta love genealogy!

RE: Memorial #67256170
Hello Daff,

Wondering if by chance you have been able to make it back to St. Swithins Cemetery. If and when you do, would it be possible to let me know who is buried next to him?

Thanks again for your kindness.

Thank you for the photo of our Great grandfather's tombstone.
I am so grateful that you have done this for us.

I also found your photo of William & Mary Hardy tombstone.
You provided a marriage date for them.
Are you connected to these Hardy's?
Yes, it would be nice to transfer Joseph Hardy's
stone to me.

I am so thankful!

RE: Hannah Bust, Winterton
You're welcome. Thanks for all the other photos. Now I'm a member, I'll upload some more from my files. I have some from North and South Kelsey and more from Winterton All Saints and Winterton Cemetery. Are you related to the Busts?
