I'm a retired chemical engineer living in the Houston area, though my wife and I grew up in Austin, Texas. We are researching the branches of our family that spread from Central Texas to East Texas, over to Alabama, Georgia, and all the way up to Ohio. We have found this site to be extremely helpful to us, and we hope that we will add information that will be of help to others.|
We have been searching Texas and Ohio cemeteries for Cox, Whitt, Koos, Blower, Stewart, Davis, Cherry, Ely, Hubbard, Zimmer, Miller, Watson, Cross, Hurley, Locke, and Braly, but in the process of looking for our relatives, we have been taking additional photographs, especially in cemeteries where not many photos are available. YOU MAY USE ANY OF OUR HEADSTONE PHOTOS without asking our permission; however, we would appreciate receiving credit for our photo.
If we manage a memorial for your relative, and it is not someone related to us, we will be more than happy to transfer the management to you. Unlike some contributors, we usually do transfer non-direct relatives such as cousins, aunts and uncles.

Thank you so much for taking the time to find and photograph this grave site! My husband and I greatly appreciate it.
Do you know the plot number or could you give us general directions on how to find it? We hope to be able to visit there one day soon.
Again, thank you so much!

Awesome! I'm glad I could help you solve one mystery. Although now that creates a NEW one... :-)

Next to her, I also found Louis C Lietz. I created a memorial for him and added the picture. Hope this helps!

You are very welcome. I agree, many are listed wrong by the either the obit and/or the name of the cemetery is not given but the name of the community, in which the person is buried, on the death certificate and many get placed in the wrong cemetery since there are more than one cemetery in the area.

Holy carp!! I'm taking a break from the paternal side of my family and settled in on extending my work with the Lunsfords . . . I was NOT aware that SOOO many, most likely ALL, of the Glouster Lunsfords are family. ((chuckle)) Every time I go to a new memorial, there you are too. Wow a lot.

Hi .... I found the James Hix Pollard stone you requested at Oakwood in Raleigh, NC. There was a matching stone beside James Pollard so I photographed it, too. Now I see that this is the stone for Eulah C. Upchurch (Pollard) (Hessey), James Pollard's wife. I see the Findagrave record for her has her in Melbourne, Florida - nope, she's here in Raleigh. Just wanted to let you know - I'll add the photo to her entry and request an edit of the burial location.
