Finally At Rest
Dr Frederick L. Van Sickle
While photographing the forest hills cemetery in Dunmore, PA I found a marker for Frederick right next to one for his wife Cora, I don't know if she is linked to the wrong Frederick or if you have the wrong cemetery for him listed...if you can figure it out please let me know and I will add the photo for his marker.

Hiya, Gary's Girl. I transferred the memorial of your great aunt, and the other two, John and John Jr. I'm afraid that Iva isn't mine. Don't grieve. I can feel a big hole, but you know, no one ever dies. We can keep track of it all though.

Bliss out.

Dorothy Jean Mcintosh Stone
You have Dorothy #104744920 married to Harold Stone. I am wondering where this info. came from. I have a marriage announcement from the Fitchburg (Massachusetts) Sentinel 21 Sept 1942 which says she married Edward M. Stone of Ephrata Air Force Base in Washington. (from

Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Hannah VS Myers' Parents
me again;) I've done some digging and am not sure that Hannah is the daughter of Lewis and Eleanor (Dean) VS. I found a biography* of Peter Hager which states that Lewis was born in England and Eleanor in Wales. It does have that they married in VA, lived in MD but not specific county, and that they returned to VA and died there. The children listed does not contain Hannah. However it does state that Peter's son Zachariah was born in Fayette Co., PA, so that fits a bit. Also, perhaps the VA mentioned was actually WV.

Ideas? Please feel free to email me directly at

Re: Thanks and ? and PS
Thank you so much Genie! I so appreciate the correct info about Hannah VS Myers!I just reviewed my notes for her and see that I had written "needs further exploration". I didn't have a birth year which would have caused me to realize that she couldn't have been the daughter of Lewis and Huldah.

I've been trying to reconcile all the (mis)information I've found regarding the Mary French vs. Mary Littell as wife of Zachariah and mother of Lewis and Zachariah among other children. My latest thought is perhaps they're the same woman who married twice... more to explore.

Yes, please do post on FB for me! I'm Beth Golden and my email is I'd so enjoy working with other descendants on our ancestors.

with deepest gratitude for you and all that you do,
