I am a southern girl (and being 60, I use the term loosely!) who has been at this genealogy thing for many years. I love cemeteries and find them as beautiful as any park with the added bonus of beautiful markers and a 1000 stories. So naturally I love this site! I live in Savannah, Georgia so I have a lot to explore.
I am excited to add new photos and search the site for "missing" family members!! Candace S

In Forest Lawn Cemetery at the Masonic section, Lot 56B, I found Amos A. Elder (1885-1969) and Grace A. (1887-1979). This is the same location that was listed for George in the burial record book. | | | Walter Raleigh Terry Jr

Thanks for the very generous offter of transfering the Starkey memorials to me, but it's not necessary as I'm sure you will do as good or better a job than I could in maintaining them. Thanks again for the photos!

Thank you so much for the photo of Benjamin Starkey's marker in Bonaventure Cemetery. It was very generous of you to take the time to do this for me. I've been looking for his final resting place for ages. I notice that you also took photos and created Find-a-Grave memorials for all the others buried in the Starkey family plot. I wasn't expecting to find Eula there! Now I know her birth and death dates, and that she remarried a Cone. An unexpected find.

I have the Bowman family in my file from Alford Benton Bowman's marriage to Jane Saxon. My great grandmother was a sister to Jane Saxon.
I don't have Charles in my file. I only listed Alford with his parents. However, the connection for Charles sounds interesting.
