Bio and Links
Bio Photo If you share an ancestor with me, I'd love to hear from you and trade info, or pictures, or whatever I have. I would appreciate whatever you have. I am always eager to meet a new cousin.

You are entitled to use any photo I have posted. I took them so others could see the gravestones of their ancestors and families. You are entitled to use any photo (or document) of a person I have posted on my memorials. I have access to an extensive family treasure of photos--which I have scanned and cataloged. I am more than willing to share.

If you have photos or documents of a family member of mine, a copy would be greatly appreciated.

Since retiring after 36 years in publishing, I've transitioned from publishing McGraw-Hill mathematics textbooks to creating books about travel, family members, and the Civil War. Family names include: Block, Norden, Luderman, Potterf, Morris, Young, Rulf, and Kesling. My wife's family names include Swift, Wach, Volz, Allen, McMillan, Garreaux, Pettingill, Nankervis, and Yendow.

For the Civil War, I'm most interested in the 14th OVI, Company E. I'm trying to identify the place of burial for all the members of Company E of the 14th OVI. My great grandfather, Charles Harrison Block, served in that regiment from August 1861 (he was 16) until July of 1865.

If you see an ancestor to you that I have uploaded, please request a transfer. I am happy to do so, even if it falls outside of the Find A Grave guidelines.

I am always willing to try to help others find their ancestors as other Find A Grave members have helped me.

Pugh, Emily

Hi Art,

I believe that Ms. Pugh is buried in an unmarked grave. I await verification from cemetery staff. If this is the case, would you like to have a photo of her plot?

I wondered about that wife's link. If she was his wife she would have been about 14 or so when he died. Possible, but.....?? I know the manager of the memorial. She'll work with you. Very nice lady.

I did not find a gravestone for this person. I understand there was extensive vanndalism here in the past and I found a pile of small gravestones with no markings visible piled near a tree. Very sad.

I photographed this entire cemetery and did not find a stone for him, unfortunately.
