Being both a genealogist and a "graver," I believe in tracing a person's history from birth to grave. Everybody deserves to be remembered; to have a marker or memorial to mark their passing from this world into the next. |
If I have input an immediate relative of yours (son, daughter, spouse, brother, sister, father, mother, uncle, aunt, grandmother, grandfather), and you do not want that person's memorial on this website, please let me know, and I will remove it promptly.
PROBLEMS/CORRECTIONS: Please let me know - I strive for accuracy. If something bothers you about a memorial, please let me know. I believe that the wishes of the descendants should be considered as well.
PHOTOS OF THE PEOPLE: I realize that this is a publicly viewable website, but out of courtesy, please ask before copying photos of the people.
PHOTOS OF THE GRAVES: Feel free to use them for your genealogical uses (but not commercial). All I ask, if you are using a photo that I took, please credit me as the photographer. ("Photo courtesy of findagrave.com contributor, B. MacBean.")
TRANSFERS: If the person is not a close relative of mine, I will be more than happy to transfer the memorial to your care.

I would LOVE to transfer your aunt to you.
Please use the edit tab (right hand corner) on her memorial & include your Find A Grave ID#. Then have fun!

I am related, but it is distant. I think you should keep it for now. Thanks for updating the memorial.

Absolutely feel free to use the photo. I feel the same way about finding someone's grave. Glad you found Azariah

Of course, you can use the photo on your family tree! No need for photo credit... I'm just glad to help. Just an FYI: the headstone is still not put back onto its base at Shingle Springs Cemetery. The base is there, but headstone is currently housed at El Dorado County Museum. I haven't followed through with the replacement, yet.
