Bio Photo Hello !

I would be very happy to hear from anyone with corrections or new information relating to the memorials that I have added or manage.

I will also be happy to transfer memorials that are special to you, (providing that they aren't more special to me or maybe have been entrusted to my care !!)

If you have any questions, please send me an e-mail... I usually can respond in a couple of days (... and maybe more quickly if it is an interesting question !!)

Thank you to all who have been helping me on these projects !!

I didn't where he was buried. Thanks so much, I edited his memorial to reflect Mt. Auburn. I so hope one day to go to Mass. my family's journey began there.

You're very welcome and yes there were tow small stones next to the ones you req. I went back today and got them and posted them. There are not readable but they were in the Cemetery book as Father Dahinden and Mother Dahinden. That is exactly as I put them in. So, you can request me to transfer them to you and you can fill in names and what ever you want. Ellen Headington My number is on the memorial

RE: The Swift Family Gravestones
Glad to hear that you like the photo. It seems like a very pleasant setting for the family plot.

RE: St Mary the Virgin Churchyard in Shenfield
The oldest stones are in the NW (North West ) corner of the grounds surrounding the church... up against the boundary fence, under some trees. I had to fight my way in to check them out. 5 foot high nettles are a formidable foe !!!! The group of stones are in a generally bad condition... Just flaked surfaces or badly weathered ... amongst them are just a few... no more than 5 that are still readable amongst them was one I did manage to take (Osborn) dated 1860's The other readable ones where dated approx 1850 - 1890. Hence why requests before 1850 are going to fail... it's just to late. The other gravestones in the Northern sector were of later date 1890 - 1930... but again in bad repair. Best maintained where the 3 WWI CWGC ( Commonwealth War Graves Commission )headstones in this area.

sorry.. I've only suggested removeal of the photo requests after a good dig about. The only other course would be to contact the church warden and ask him to dig through his records. They may have some drawings or plot sketches amongst them.
