nun glessner
This Nun Glessner is the same as Alcy glessner 71438284. I know this because she is my great great aunt. Paul E. Haley, Marion, Indiana. phaley@indy.rr.com (PS) her death record list her as Hilsie, which is wrong. Her surename is Eliza Alcy Ann (Lloyd) Glessner.

May I use the grave marker photo that you contributed to the memorial for Henry Smith, to be posted on the Vermont C.W. site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org.

You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Alta Adell Stanley
Karen, apparently my grandmother doesn't know how to tell the truth about anything. She listed her "uncle's name" as the father of her baby and then the baby died on March 25th and the father is listed as Robert Stanley. So the birth certificate lists Feb. 27, 1917 as the day of birth and the death certificate lists March 25th as the day of death in 1917. Little Alta must've only been 26 days old and not 29, like the death certificate states.

Thank you, Karen. I have a copy of his death certificate and his headstone. That asylum was creepy and to know that Indiana led the charge to sterilize "undesirables" is disturbing.
