|Cynthia B. Wilken Sievers||RE: Comer|
Thanks for pointing out that missing linkage of Amanda's. Wasn't aware I forgot it. So, How are all those Comers you have listed, related to my Comers on my list. I am assuming Lorenzo had siblings. but I have know idea of them. I would like even so much as a picture of any of one them. Would love any info you might want to share and I will as well. PS are you my kin?

Here's his id 32643040. You left a flower on his memorial "from a distant relative" so I thought you'd be interested. But if you're like me, distant relatives get forgotten quickly! lol

I'm transcribing an 1864 Civil War diary from Cpl Robert B Craig and thought you'd like to know Betts was mentioned in it. Isaac Betts was a Sgt from Bartholomew County, and served in the 33rd Regt, Co G, Indiana Vols.

I am not related to Austin Reigel. He was in the family that I was researching and later found I wasn't related to.

I want to work on having Lydia's name added to the monument at the Campton Cemetery. It is wrong that there is nothing about her. I am not a direct descendant; but my great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, were married to Louisa Hanks and Lydia Jane Evans, (then divorced so I come from their 2nd wives.) Is there anyone who will work with me on this?

Judy - I am sorry to hear about your stroke. I hope you have a full and speedy recovery.
There are a couple of reasons that I use Ancestry.com:
1) It is a sort of Facebook for amateur genealogists. If something that I post can help a newcomer, I think I've done my "job".
2) I don't know how to create my own site. I may try this at some time in the future, because I am frustrated with how limited Ancestry's software is. I use Legacy on my own computer, and info sometimes gets butchered in the upload to Ancestry.
Thank you for the permission to use your photos. I always provide the source information (although Ancestry has stripped some of the info during uploads).
Again, my best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hi, Judy - I just wanted to ask if it is OK for me to use your headstone and marker photos for my project (on Ancestry.com) on Van Buren Co., Arkansas. I live in San Antonio and cannot take the photos myself.
I always give credit to the Find A Grave photographer/contributor, as well as provide the number of the memorial so that others can see the original for themselves.
It has come to my attention that some folks don't like Ancestry.com (since it is a pay site), but I find it a good place to provide information to a lot of folks.
Please let me know, and thanks for all of your work on Find A Grave. You will not hurt my feelings if you decline.
San Antonio, Texas
I have run across this several times on death certificates where the "Place of Burial or Removal" is not a cemetery, but it says "Dental College".
Do you think the body was Donated to Science?

I was researching the James-Becraft-Laswell family and did several month's of research only to find out I was not related to this family. I got the photo from Ancestry.com where it was added by Sheila Walrath.
