Bio and Links
Bio Photo My profile pic is my mom pushing me off for my first steps on Staten Island.

I live in The Denny Triangle in Seattle, WA, USA. I know it is important and vital to record accurately the historical aspects of a persons life, including their final resting place. This, my father inspired me to do as a kid, when he would take me with him to visit family graves. He would tidy them up, like,, actually cut the grass. I remember the cemetary where his father was sometimes was overgrown. I liked to clean up those graves with him and those memories are deeply a part of me. Even though I can not see the graves of anyone related to me here in Seattle, Washington, I can still participate in honoring and respecting their existence.

My X's are from NW Florida. Through FAG and I have been able to see the final resting places of many, many of my mom's side ancestors, going back to early 1800's. Americans of Scottish, Irish, Cherokee, Creek, English, French descent, migrating from New York and Carolinas to Georgia and Alabama, all eventually making their way to NW FL.

My Y's are from Roccabascerana, in the Province of Avellino, Campania, Italy, about 30 miles east of Naples. There is a large residence called "Case (House of) Ragucci" within Avellino. House of Ragucci. My grandparent's immigration states Roccabascerana as origin.

My Aunt, my mom's sister, who I never met, Margaret Ann Williamson, who died before I was born, but I feel a connection to her

RE: Mario is having trouble with right arm.
I am so sorry to hear about your arm, Mario...please don't worry about not leaving tokens, just rest, hope your arm feels better very soon.

RE: Right arm is speaking loudly.
Don't worry about flowering Mario, just rest and heal so you can come back to us. Sorry about your arm. My left wrist was fractured and I still feel the aches in damp or cold weather.

RE: Belated thank you for the
Mario, you sure know the traffic situation in Bay Ridge! It's still like that. I always considered SI the country. We almost moved to a pretty little ranch style home on Todt Hill but my Mom convinced me that we'd be too far from Grandma Josie's so I sided with her. Dad never brought up moving after that! Stay cool.

RE: Your Inspiration is Fresh for me
Tante Grazie, Mario! If you ever want to discuss Italian-American culture Dyker Heights or Bay Ridge style please contact me by email. I'm going to be living in Bay Ridge soon in my Mom's cousin's brownstone. In his household the old school customs are still alive--culturally and spiritually. I love it! Grandma Josie and her sisters Rosie and Florie are alive there in spirit.

Also thanks for understanding about the tokens. Sometimes I post the same sentiment at many memorials but that is my way of getting the message of the day out.

Love to hear Staten Island stories sometime.

Hope the summer is going well for you.

RE: Hello my FAG super friend
Dear Mario,
How is summer treating you? We have had record breaking heat over and over and over, I actually miss freezing to death in Chicago and New Jersey. ha! Gannon and I are still on the road alot day after day for dr. stuff, but we seem to be getting closer to a permanent referral to the Los Angeles area, I sure hope so because it seems as though we have been waiting forever! I hope that you remember that, even if I'm offline much of the time, that you're always in our hearts...Gannon loves some of the tokens that you leave on our pages - absolutely beautiful. =) Take good care and stay in touch - Hugs, RCP and Gannon Blue
