I am interested in recording family, family friends and the families that made up Rhodes IA. Most of my entries are involved with Rhodes, IA. A community of people deeply connected to my family on both sides. If they aren't blood relatives, then they were people involved in the daily living of my family.

I think that you may have transferred D Hennessey to me in error as I have no connection to her. While I am happy to transfer to her to the right person, I very much enjoyed her interesting obit.

Hi John, I photographed Elva's stone today. Unfortunately, I didn't find a stone for David.

I need to go back and retake the picture. When I posted it I saw there was also writing on the side of the stone. There is also a sons Carl Binzer and Friedee Von Binzer.

If there are any buildings you want pictures of in Davenport just let me know.
I added a photo to Otto G. Hubers' memorial. I also added memorials for his parents and sister who are in the same mausoleum room with him. The other two crypts in that room are M.L. O'Hara and Lillian & William Edward Zuill. Not sure if they're related or how.
|Dustin Oliver||RE: Petersen, Max Dortu & Caroline A. Runge|
Not a problem. I enjoy taking the photos and researching the families. I connected everyone in the lot, and I think most of the contributors have accepted the edits now.
Max Dortu Petersen & Caroline Runge Petersen
children: Max Rudolph Petersen, Walter Herman Petersen and Infant Daughter Peteresen
Henry Asmus Runge and Dorothea Henrietta Runge (parents of Caroline)
There is also a strange stone in the lot that doesn't correspond to anyone listed on the large monument. It is in the back corner, near the mausoleum that's visible in the photo of the front of the family monument. It's a grey granite base with a black granite sloped piece on top, etched with what looks like some heavily embellished monogram. Not sure what that is.

Your welcome, glad to help...

You are very welcome. Sounds interesting about the Gold Coast. If you are looking for someone and can't find them ,let me no, I'll see if they are there. I go down to the cemetery a lot, Fairmount has a lot of large beautiful stones.

|Chris Schaefer||Adeline and Marshall Howard|
John, The other photos I took of Adeline and Marshall Howard are also in Maple Hill in Montour, NOT Gladbrook as they are listed by the IaGenWeb project. Therefore, I would suggest the county listing may be incorrect. Hope this helps.
