***** If you have emailed me and have not heard back, please email me again. I never thought this would happen, but I am getting swamped with emails from FAG and ancestry.com, and I may have mistakenly missed a few emails. *****|
I will gladly transfer memorials to family, no matter the lineage, as well as to friends. :-) Any photo I take is yours. :-)
I have always been drawn to old cemeteries where I read and touch headstones as my way of remembering those who have passed on.
I am forever grateful to the following FAG members:
Janie #47619161, who located numerous documents for me about my great grandmother who died in 1912 and started my family tree on ancestry.com, giving me an incredible jump start on my ancestral research.
Clint Black #47536687, who was instrumental in helping me learn about my Wyoming ancestors from back when Cheyenne was still a territory.
Van Bender #47533106, who brilliantly took photos of all the damaged crypts at Saint Bernard Memorial Gardens after Hurricane Katrina. Without him I would have never known where my dear friend Dianne Agnes Bird May lays peacefully after a horrific death.
Dee #48005787, who went to an incredible amount of work to locate the gravesite of Hung Anh Truong #96905085 in order to be able to photograph his headstone. Hung, a Vietnamese teenager, is considered to be one of the first hate-crime victims in Houston, TX.
Judy H #46977685 who has filled over 30 of my photo requests in Milwaukee, and has even created memorials with photos of my family that I did not realize were buried in Milwaukee, and then transferred the memorials to me. Judy's work provided me with many dates of birth and death I was not able to find on my own.
And those who have transferred memorials of my ancestors to me, filled photo requests for me, and have taken their time to help me along the way.
I have had the privilege of documenting an old forgotten Jewish cemetery in Hallettsville, Texas, that is in deplorable condition, and over 150 graves in a Historic Black cemetery in Colorado County, Texas.

Hello there my friend! I am so glad some good things came from my time working at Holy Cross Cemetery and working on memorials! I occasionally receive emails requesting changes to the memorials - usually in the form of adding information. I still have my email and always enjoyed receiving messages from you. I think about you and wonder how you are getting along.
I have not been working on memorials or genealogy for a while. I briefly took up two new "hobbies" - woodburning and copper wire craft. I now spend lots of time looking at new photos and videos of my first great-grandchild, a lovely baby boy! I'll send you a private email.

Hi! I have your contact info through a Norton "cousin," Mr. Shelley Norton. He forwarded an e-mail of yours to me a year or so ago. Too much going on around here then to do much family history stuff, so I am just now following up! At least I do not think I previously touched base with you...? I will also send this message to the e-mail Shelley forwarded. I will be glad to hear from you!

Please remove the death certificate from this memorial. This is not an appropriate place for this.

|Patrick Lee||RE: Morris Samuels Wagner #43431894|
Morris Samuel Wagner's headstone is still in place. Mr Miller from Beth Yeshurun has been the hospital for an Aorta valve operation. He is expected to be released today. I spoke with him this morning. We will try to meet in the next couple of weeks when his health is better and I will address your questions.
|Patrick Lee||RE: Wiener Dittman Plot|
As there is photo of a headstone for Morris Wagner, I did not add any other photos for him. I believe that his headstone is there. I will be going by there later this morning. I will verify that.

I have been working with Mr Miller and have been updating burials at both the Allen Parkway and Post Oak Sites. You have raised avery good question in regard to Baby Samuels. I am looking at the burial readout for Allen Parkway and Baby Samuels is not on their listing. That could be a clerical error and needs to be looked into.
I believe a have given burial locations to everyone in the Wiener/Dittman family plot. I will inquire more about Baby Samuels.
