Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in Genealogy for several years and enjoy discovering my ancestors.

The Family names I'm researching are:

Barber, Bell, Bethe, Clark, Cluggage, Davis, Esser, Gehret, Gemmill, Gerichs, Halwes, Humbert, Isett, Judy, McCarthy, Moyer, Murphy, Nix, Osborn(e), Riley, Schoedler, Steel, Stewart, Susott, and Whetsel.

Find A Grave volunteers have worked hard on documenting families which in turn leaves a legacy for future generations. If one person reconnects with their family & learns of their ancestral heritage via data, headstone photos or links on the site, then it's all worth the time.

Thanks to the Find A Gravers that have transferred to my account! Especially the ones with the big numbers that feel that memorials belong in the hands of family.

Wishing all smooth sailing with discovering your ancestors with no brick walls in your path.

Peace to all that are here and beyond.

P.S. I post & care for mostly my direct ancestor lines but I do manage memorials in Mount Olivet Cemetery (Chester County, Pennsylvania), Rosemary Cemetery (Sarasota, Florida) & South Whitley Cemetery (South Whitley, Indiana). Please check the virtual cemeteries on my profile for your family & ask for a transfer.

John Steele

I found some of your listings and am hopeful that we have an ancestor connection. Is there a way to contact you?

My Steel family is from Duncannon and begins no later than David Steel @1750-1804.

Thank you for the information on the mistake. Always thankful for corrections in the family history. Would that I could get it right the first time around, such is life. Thanks again.

Edward Bell
Edward Bell was actually born on 17 March 1769. His sister, Mary (Polly) Bell, was the oldest child in this family. She was born in 1767, either in Nova Scotia, Canada, where her parents were probably married, or in Huntingdon Co., PA Colony, where the family eventually settled.

Agnes Marie McClain Anderson
Hi Sandra,
Thank you for being so thorough on Agnes and Ira Anderson's lines! I am researching my maternal lines and was wondering if you have any information on their children. I'm finding conflicting information in my research, which is par for the course, but this could help me confirm for sure if I'm on the right track. My grandmother was Carrie Elizabeth Anderson Edge. Her DC says her parents were James and Agnes (Craig) Anderson. However, her brothers' birth records list the parents as Ira and Agnes (McClain) Anderson. Remaining family does not remember much about that side, so it's difficult to get accurate information from them. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide! RE: Nancy Judy Lunceford Biggs
Thanks - You just saved a friend from searching the Port immigration records for me. The Carlock book is informative, also History of Madison Co - but a lot of oral history changes over time.

Now we are back to the confusion over two children Samuel & Mary Ann "Nancy" both with tombstones stating they were both born in 1773 4 month apart.

Judy, "Nancy" Mary Ann
I just read & photocopied Carlock's Judy-Tschudi family history. Researching the Jacob-Samuel-Thomas Judy line. I found conflicting information on Mary Ann "Nancy" Judy daughter of Jacob sister of Samuel Sr.b 1773. Immigrated in 1777 according to Carlock.

I do not think she is Nancy Ann Judy Lunsford Biggs 24209585 born in Pittsburgh 1773 Another possibility is 89272752.

Do you have any information on this confusion?
