Mr. Fleming. I was looking at some of the Kennon graves, and noticed the great photo of Benning Moore. I believe he was a cousin to my great grandmother on the Gartrell side. I would love to know more about the Kennons. I am working on a book on the history of the Gartrells. Thanks, Tim

On the page showing the tombstone of John Philip Perry at the Ellijay City Cemetery, you added a picture of a young man. John Phillip Perry died as an infant in 1927, several months after his birth. I wondered if the picture might be of his father, Howard Perry. I would like to find a photograph of Ida Mae (Simmons) Perry, Howard's wife, who is a distant cousin of mine. Are you related? Thank you for your help.

There is an obit on the front page of the Americus Times Weekly recorder for Dec 21, 1916..it is not in the best of shape and would not copy directly to his page. But if you will email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I can forward it to you. He was solicitor General in Americus for 8 years.

Last May you gave me this information:
Career: Joined the United States Army, April 30, 1898, as private. Promoted to First Lieutenant, July 5, 1889.
Could you check those dates? The apparent order seems wrong.
|Brenda Arnett Darbyshire||Nella Vason Jones|
Buried in Oakview Cemetery, Albany GA. You left the wrong obituary on Nella. She died in 1968 and was never married.

Thanks for adding the obits. Would you like to add them in the bio instead?

Hey, Thanks for the info. I could barely read from my picture. Is she a relative? She's not one of mine, but I had the pic and decided to post.

Thank you for the information on William Young.
