Bio Photo Find A Grave business:

Please submit a summary of an obituary to the memorials I manage, if it is a recent one (within the last 15 years or so) and please omit living persons' names, in keeping with the spirit of FAG's guidelines. If it is word-for-word and recent, I would rather not take the time to edit it, so I'll probably not accept it in that form. If you submit a photo, I'll trust you have the right to do so.I'm not judging anyone who does differently, however, and I'm not going to nag (said with a smile....)

I'll transfer most any memorial you wish, just ask. If I don't want to transfer, I'll let you know why.

If you see anything that needs changing or updating, click on the "edit" tab at the top right of the memorial and type in the information in the areas given. It's far easier for me to process edits this way rather than through email.

*If you find a memorial I manage that is DUPLICATED, please click on the edit tab and fill out the last line on the form.

*I've inherited some which may have been duplicated --I can't just delete those, I have to contact FAG to delete them, so I will mark such as "duplicates" until they are deleted.

*If you are a close family member who prefers to not have a memorial or photo on FAG, and it is one I manage, please contact me and I will remove the memorial. If I did not create it originally, I have to go through FAG. If I did not take the photo I cannot delete it, even if it is on a memorial I manage.

MY GRAVE PHOTOS - Be nice to them and put them in the right places, and that will be OK. You don't need my permission (although it might be fun to know where they go!)

MY FAMILY PHOTOS: Please obtain my permission before copying and posting these anywhere. Thank you!
STORIES.....Because I love stories....I love Find A Grave. So full of LIFE stories! What's yours?
Helen Coon is my mother,

Vicky Goertzen a long time and very dear friend who died of diabetes.
"Wally" our dog who died on Good Friday;
Marchant child One of six children in the same family, who died within a 2 week period.

I have interests in art, photography, history, and writing. My husband and I have two college aged sons. My husband is a teacher, and I am a substitute teacher with fairly full-time employment. I hit the cemeteries when school is out, though!

I am adjusting to having my "baby" away at college, far from home for the first time.
I believe in and try to follow Jesus every day and in every aspect. The Kingdom coming on earth begins with those who are faithful doing the will of God through Christ in all we say or do on this earth and in this life, not because of eternal reward, but because the world needs us and the message of ultimate redemption of all Creation. Peace on earth, good will to all.

Thanks and blessings to everyone who works so hard to make Find A Grave so awesome! Appreciation as well to those who put the flowers all around!

RE: Anna Lee Area
Thank you so much, GeekyGraveGirl! This settles the question of whether my aunt's middle name was Lee or Leigh (her father's first name was Leigh, so I always assumed it was the latter).

RE: ... and the people related to the ones you've edited....
Thanks! I have no idea who Tressie Caroline Strand is, though. I don't think she is connected with our family, if you'd like to take her back. I'm also happy to keep her connected with my name... if somebody comes along that can make a family connection, then I'd find out!

RE: Olive Strand edit
Sure -- I'm not sure how that works, but I bet you do!

RE: Olive Strand edit
Frank Gordon Tenney is my GGGrandfather. I'm in the process of linking up all his daughters to him (the married ones all have different last names, of course!)

I visited Sunset a year ago and couldn't find Frank's grave. The lot # they had for him was empty, so I just assumed he didn't have a headstone. I was delighted to find your photo, and now I have to go back to see it in person!!

Did you happen to find an Arla Strand in the records? She died in 1972 and was supposed to be buried there. I'm sure she would not have a headstone, since she was pretty down on her luck. She is the daughter of Dan and Myrtle Strand (who also don't have headstones). Myrtle is the daughter of Frank Tenney.

Thanks again for finding Frank's headstone!!

RE: Ross edits, Sunset, Manhattan, KS

Thank you! But they are not closely related, there is no need to transfer.

RE: Hostinsky edits
No I am not related. I have been trying to link children with their parents that are buried at New Tabor cemetery

RE: Joan Grisamer Stone
Joan Grisamer Stone
I created a memorial and linked her to Pauline Ellwood Grisamer. The obituary I found for Joan listed her as the daughter of Java Jack Grisamer and Pauline O. Elwood (?) Grisamer (who later divorced). Would you like this memorial transferred to your care, as you are researching this family?

Could you please transfer her stone to me? Thank you for asking. My id#32988107.

take care,
charla carter

RE: Cedar Hill Cemetery, Pott. County, Kansas
No I did not photographed all of the Cedar Hill tombstones. Just did some when I visited ages ago. There are a couple other people who have added photos and grave sites for Cedar Hill. Am not sure how far along they are. Beautiful area...
Thanks for asking.
