Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy because my parents took an interest in their family history. My mother's ancestors settled in New England and include Mayflower passengers (Francis Cooke, Peter Browne, John and Elinor Billington, George Soule, and Richard Warren) and American Revolutionary War patriots Samuel Ransom and Ira Stephens. Her ancestors found their way to Oregon in the 1850's. Most of my father's ancestors settled in Virginia in the 1700's and moved to Missouri before moving to California.

The Internet has helped our family find out more about our roots. Living far from the places where my ancestors settled, lived, and died, I appreciate the many volunteers who have photographed the cemeteries where my ancestors and relatives are buried.

Elizabeth,

I could not accept the quality of the previous photos, so I deleted each of them and added new ones. I hope that you will be pleased with the results!

Elizabeth, should I chalk the letters and dates belonging to Nuncie and photograph?

Bittman Memorial

Hi Elizabeth,

It is unfortunate, but as the names were added to the Bittman monument, they became more difficult to read. I took a number of pictures without improving on the quality. This is the best that I can do.

Nuncie is on the same monument. As you can see, the monument is difficult to read. If memory serves me correctly, Nuncie's name is the least legible of all.

I will take an additional photo and attach to her page.

It was my pleasure! Mountain View Cemetery is a beautiful resting place nestled against the San Gabriel Mountains, alive with the sounds of nature and majestic trees towering above. (The usually lush grounds are dry due to the current water restrictions).

If you have additional relatives that you would like to have photographed, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Anna Marie McDearmon
While fulfilling your request for Arthur McDearmon, I found he is buried with his wife, Anna Marie. She does not have a memorial. If you create one, please put in a request and I will add the pictures. Take care.

Would you like management of these two transferred to you?
