Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started my geneaolgy journey quite by accident. A question came up in my family ancestry, so I decided to see if I could answer it. I found the answer and I was excited about the find. My husband then purchased a family tree computer program and it has snowballed from there. I love history and thinking about how our ancestors lived. I enjoy sharing with others the newest information found. It's a great way to honor our heritage and remember the ones who came before us. "Some" of the names I am researching are....Brune, Stehwien, Mangelsdorf, Fickel, Southard, Harris, Holloman, Troxel, Ward, Osborne, Stubblefield, Coffin, Guerrant, Porche, Guilfoyle plus related lines.

Thanks to all that have contributed to my memorials. I am willing to share what information I have. Sharing is what Find A Grave is all about. That's my belief! Please feel free to use any of my information or photos for your own use.

Please, if you find any errors or if I can make any additions, let me know!

Wemple family in Green Hill
Hi Gina, I was in Danville yesterday and fulfilled a couple of photo requests for Wemple family whom you had put the memorials up for. Wanted to let you know that there is a lady buried in there named Blanche Wemple (1877-1967) and another by the name of Mary W Hagedorn (1874-1946). I have photos of their graves and will post them if you wanted to post memorials for them as I assume they must be family as well.

Best regards,

You are very welcome. I'll keep this headstone in mind to check for another photo during a season when the flowers are prettier.

Marsden
No relation.
I am "working" on a local cemetery - trying to link family members together.
Dorothy was buried as a Harris, but Marsden's obit on his page does not mention her at all, so I think I will make a note on her page, but not link to his.
Any idea if there was a divorce? She died in 1988, but that's not exactly a lot of time for a second marriage with grandchildren by his death in '05, so I am guessing they were not together until her death... but she is still buried as a Harris.

Find A Grave Memorial# 28732568

I see that you posted a photo to Marsden's page.
Do you have any idea if he had a previous marriage?
I have memorial 5190017. I found a marriage record between Dorothy and Marsden D Harris, with a DOB of 1930 for Marsden - which fits this Marsden.
Just curious!
Thanks

Mary Ward Carter
I just posted a photo for Mary. It is very difficult to read but I feel confident that it is her marker. To the left of Mary is a marker for Electa Kitchell, first wife of Elias Carter. To the left of Electa are markers for other Carters--Charles, Clarissa, Amanda, etc.

There is no evidence of a log cabin on the property.
