I am presently researching the Brown-Parrish families of Elmore, Autauga, and Chilton Counties and the Crew Family of Elmore, Autauga, Chilton and Coosa Counties. I am sharing what I have for others who may not be able to obtain this information so easily. I also share other graves found in hard to find places when possible for others who may be looking but can't find them. I really hope my contributions help someone.|

|Donna White||RE: re Abner Wilson|
Ok, I sent you the wrong link to him at camp chase..
the problem is that the picture for the gravestone in Alabama is uploaded to the memorial in ohio at camp chase.That particular gravestone is not in camp chase cemetery. It is in alabama.someone looking for it at camp chase will not find it there. can you remove it from the camp chase memorial? thanks, donna
|Donna White||re Abner Wilson|
Hi, somehow two memorials for Abner Wilson were merged and your grave pics wound up in the wrong cemetery for him. can you fix it? those gravestones are in the cemetery mentioned in his bio, but not in Camp Chase cemetery in Columbus, ohio.Can you make a new memorial with the pics if there isn't one already and put a note in the bio that "this isn't a duplicate memorial, it is a stone in a different cemetery" and merge him to his parents.thanks, donna
|Derek Thornton||George Parrish|
My wife is a Parrish whose family comes from Autauga.
Her Great grandfather is Clute McCord Parrish, whose father is listed on the 1900 Census for Precinct 11 Mountain Creek, Autauga, Alabama, United States as "George D Parish". He was born in 1860.
My wife says his name was George Daniel Parrish.
I am looking into my wife's family and wondered if this was the same person and if so if you had anymore information on the Parrish family.
Thank you for your time.

I am looking for the burial location of Archie Hester Parrish and his wife, Janie Louise (Tatum) Parrish of Elmore/Autauga Co. It appears they moved away from the area and died in PA. If you happen to know the resting place of these two, would you please let me know? Thank you!

My great great grandfather was Richard A. Allen. His wife was Martha Housley. Their daughter was Sarah Elizabeth "sack" Allen. They lived in Cherokee and Coosa counties. I have found only limited information by finding posts from Ottis Murphy. I cannot find the parents of Richard or Martha. Could you or someone else shed some light? Thanks.
I am not descended from WILSON. I descend from Margaret Lorena Terrell & John Thomas Huett. His first wife, Susan Alice Wilson died and he married my grandmother. They only had on child before Huett died -- my mother. I do have an interest in Huett, but not Wilson grave management. My research into Wilson in Coosa County, Alabama is quite extensive because T.L.D. Wilson had 3 sons who married 2 sisters and one cousin of my grandmother. My provision of links that I know to be accurate is for the benefit of others who may be looking into the same lines. Information & links to William HUETT descendants will be appreciated. May your search be successful.
Happy New Year to all!

To An Honored Family Member:
I am Linda Wingard Parrish and I am trying to find my husbands ancestors. I see that you research the Parrish family and I wondered if there is a connection. I just recently found out who my husbands grandparents are but have no idea of their birth and dates of death.
My husbands father is John Dewey Parrish Sr.(1902-1976) and his mother is Sarah Reed Berry Parrish(1919-1999). His grandparents are Sidney and Lenora Parrish and they are all buried in Oak Hill Cemetery in Prattville Al. Autauga Co. There is a concrete slab over the grandparents graves but no names or dates are on them.
Do you know any additional info on these Parrish's? I know John had brothers and sisters. I think his brothers names were William, Archie, Sidney Jr. and there may be one more. Two of his sisters were named Lily and Maggie. This is all the info I know on them but maybe there is a connection to some Parrish's you have researched.
I would appreciate any info you may have. Thanks, LWP

I am researching the Wilson and Martin families. My wife is a GG grand daughter of Sara [Sarah] Elizabeth Martin through her daughter Sara Lucinda Wilson who married Samuel Henry Smith. I would like to share and/or compare notes with you that we have accumulated over the years from our research efforts. I live in Jefferson County, Alabama and my wife and I attended a Wilson Family Reunion several years ago between Sylacauga and Rockford. Both our families have roots in and around Coosa County.
