I have always taken an interest in history and genealogy which I inherited from my gr-grandfather Porter Matteson. I find this site helps me to help others find their loved ones, even if they can't actually visit the graves. I enjoy helping with this mission. My goal is to eventually have most of the tombstones in McLennan County, Texas online for everyone to see. I am willing to do some research if needed in McLennan and Falls County. ***Please use the Suggest a Correction for transfer requests or corrections. THANK YOU!!! Thank you so much for the picture of Stella M. and Samuel F. Renfro's head stone. I have been looking for confirmation of their information for my genealogy records and your picture is a big help. Again, thank you, Glenna
Patterson photo Hi, I created a memorial for my cousin Jackie Dean Patterson in the Restland Memorial Cemetery. I noticed that you added a tombstone photo for his wife Ruth Ann Patterson. Could you please add the same photo to his grave as well? Thanks
Fred Lawson # 27628599 Fred Lawson is linked to Chloe Frakes as father. If you check her birth date she can't be the mother or father. I am not able to send a request to add his correct father as that field has her number in it. His father was R.L. Lawson # 16999155. His mother was Mary Elizabeth Barlow who died in 1932 and don't have a grave location for her at this time. Carolyn
Wrong headstone photo #107651332 Hello, You added a headstone photo for Bobby Joe Sebastian #107651332. The photo is actually for Buddy Joe Sebastian in #108443908. Would you please move it over to his memorial? I would very much appreciate it if you would.
William H Kinsey FAG #26489117 Hello CouchPotato, Would you have information regarding the 1900 Coryell TX Census for William H. Kinsey's boarder, James D. Oats (sp? James David OATES was my husband's grandfather. He was born in 1876 in Missouri to James David Oates (Sr) and Martha Smith. He is said to have had a brother named Tom but I have nothing on him either. James David is listed with his parents on the 1880 Butler Co, Missouri Census. I have found Kinsey's and Morris' in MO. Lillie B Morris Kinsey (wife of William H Kinsey) was listed in the 1880 Piney, Texas County, MO census. I think some of the Kinsey's were neighbors to the Oates. I can find no record of James David Oates parents before 1880. I know of his spouse and children. It is thought that James David was orphaned at some point in time. I don't know when he came to Texas. I know it's a long shot but thought you might have information you could share regarding James David Oates and his ancestors. Thank you for any help you may offer.
